Prince Harry, the Royal Family and Pluto in Aquarius

The pleasure of knowing astrology is to watch outer events mirror the planetary patterns in the sky.  One such event is Prince Harry railing against the British royal family. He has criticized them on Netflix and has written a memoir entitled Spare as well as the many disparaging media interviews. The planetary pattern is the upcoming Pluto transiting Aquarius.

It may be that Prince Harry is carrying the energy of Pluto in Aquarius.  The gods choose a person to play a role on the world stage.  The person may not be aware of it and may or may not be ready to play the role, or even be qualified -- but they are chosen.

 

Prince Harry’s Birth Chart and Transits

We can see how Prince Harry is playing out this role by examining his birth chart.  It shows a Capricorn ascendant, the Sun in Virgo, and the Moon in Taurus--a triple earth person.  Earth types usually don’t like to make waves.  But, in addition to his earthiness, there is a revolutionary archetype buried down deep in his psyche that you don’t see at first glance, and that is Uranus in aspect to two personal planets. . He has Mercury square Uranus, which means he can create disruptive changes with his written or spoken words.  He also has Uranus conjunct Mars, which compels him to break through barriers with potentially explosive anger.  So, because of his triple earth signs and his hidden Uranus aspects what you see is not what you get with Prince Harry. 

People who knew him previously have had a problem understanding what he has become. I have learned from my many years working with clients that most of us repress the Uranus aspects in our charts because we want to conform.  But sooner or later, if we have challenging aspects to Uranus in our birth chart, or when transiting Uranus hits a sensitive point in our birth chart, we can become rebellious, erratic, willful, and ornery.  But, the positive side of Uranus’ natal aspects and transits are that Uranus can help us to become a unique individual self.

Looking at Prince Harry’s chart, we see that Uranus is now transiting his 4^th house of the family and ancestors, and is also conjunct with his Moon, which rules the 4^th house. This is a double whammy for rebellious Uranus to the family and his origins.

 

A Myth and Fairy Tale for Uranus and Aquarius

The myth of Prometheus provides the storyline for Aquarians and those with major Uranus aspects.  He was one of the gods that lived on Olympus with his family. Prometheus rebelled against the gods and stole the fire to bring to mankind. The fire represents knowledge. The gods didn’t believe that humanity should have this knowledge, because they didn’t want mankind to be on the same level as they were. Because of that theft, the family locked him out.  

What I love most about Uranus and Aquarius types is the impulse to tell the truth, whether or not anyone wants to hear it. In Hans Christian Anderson’s fairy tale the Emperor’s New Clothes two swindlers posing as weavers play on the emperor's vanity by saying that they are making him a suit that is only visible to people who are clever and competent. Once the people heard that, they all pretended to admire his clothes.  A pauper came along and said, “The Emperor has no clothes on”.  And everyone awakened and stopped pretending.  That is the role of Aquarius/Uranus, to wake people up.  Maybe this is Prince Harry’s role to reveal what is behind the world’s infatuation with the monarchy. See the following paragraph from a recent article in the British newspaper, the Guardian.

It is a constructed reality, in which grown-up people are asked to collude in the notion that a human is more than a human – that he or she contains something approaching the ineffable essence of Britishness. Once, this fiction rested on political and military power, supported by a direct line, it was supposed, to God. Nowadays it relies on the much frailer foundations of habit, the mysteries of Britain’s unwritten constitution, and spectacle: a kind of symbolism without the symbolised. Ceremonials such as the late queen’s funeral are not merely decorative; they are the institution’s means of securing its continuance. The monarchy is theatre, the monarchy is storytelling, and the monarchy is illusion.” Charlotte Higgins of the Guardian

 

Pluto in Aquarius

Pluto represents death, rebirth, destruction, regeneration, and radical transformation.  Aquarius rules revolution, rebellion and independence.  Aquarius is also the sign of the people; it is opposite Leo, the sign of the king--making Aquarius the anti-king sign. Even though Pluto doesn’t go into Aquarius until March 23, 2023, we started to sense this energy back in January 2021.

To understand a transit such as Pluto in Aquarius, it’s helpful to look back at the last time we experienced it to understand what this transit could manifest.  The last time that Pluto was in Aquarius was 1778 until 1798.  The French revolution started in 1789 and ended in 1799. Its motto was “liberty, equality, fraternity”, and that phrase perfectly explains the urge of Aquarius. The beginnings of the American Revolution took place in 1765 and culminated in 1791. Both revolutions had the purpose of getting rid of the monarchy.

 

Future of the British Monarchy

It’s interesting to watch the news to see if there are changes coming in the power of the British monarchy.  One of the news items that I noticed was that in Australia the nation’s central bank has stated that its new $5 bill would feature an indigenous design rather than an image of King Charles III.

When Pluto enters Aquarius on March 23, 2023, he will retrograde back to Capricorn from 6/11/2023 to 1/21/2024.  Pluto will again be in Aquarius from 1/21/2024 to 9/2/2024 when he retrogrades back into Capricorn until 11/19/2024. He finally moves into Aquarius from 11/19/2024 until January 20, 2044. So, Pluto will have a long range of time with the help of Prince Harry to transform the British Monarchy.

I am taking a second look at A Terrible Love of War, a book by James Hillman published in 2005.  Most of us don’t want to read or think about war, but In Hillman’s book, he writes about Mars, the God of war. According to Hillman, the god of war is an archetype that needs to be acknowledged and honored.  How do we do that without bloodshed?  His book goes a long way to answering that question.  And speaking about Hillman, Pacifica Graduate Institute is offering a course on Hillman presented by his friend, Thomas Moore. This month Pluto will station at 28 degrees and slowly turn retrograde. Pluto is in the last degrees of Capricorn.  He was joined by Saturn in 2019 until Dec of 2020 and Jupiter joined him in Dec 2019 until Dec 2020. He also had help from Venus and Mars, who joined him from Jan 22 until early March 22.  He had some good buddies to help him hold onto the old guard and impose global control.  He is all alone now in Capricorn, so his power may be weakening, but he is still a tough cookie and won’t totally let go until he moves into Aquarius the sign of revolution in April 2023. In four years, when he is in Aquarius, he will move into a conjunction with Russia’s Moon-- the Russian people.  Because Pluto moves so slowly, we could start to foresee the change in the soul of Russia and its people as soon as April 2023.  Stay tuned.

Apr 1 – New Moon at 11 Aries. This is the first New Moon after the vernal equinox so it signifies the beginning of the year. Any intention you perform during this New Moon will be effective for the entire year. This New Moon is conjunct Mercury and in Aries, he is frank and forthright.  Aries is about heroic action.  It pushes forward without a care for the slower dreamy types.  Anger could cause you to say something you will later regret.  We could all become mentally active. People around you will do or say whatever they want. You could be on the receiving end or the pushy end.  See where 11 Aries falls in your birth chart.  That area of life should be included in your intention for the year.  See the Meaning of the Houses here.

Apr 4 – Mars Conjunct Saturn at 22 degrees of Aquarius.  This is a warlike aspect.  We could see conflicts in the world. Mars wants to move ahead, be active, accomplish something, BUT Saturn puts on the brakes. So this is not a good time to travel or to make plans.  Just stay home and do some work around the house especially if you have personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars) or the ascendant at 20 to 24 degrees of Aries or Libra.

Apr 5 – Venus Enters Pisces until May 2.  Venus is exalted in Pisces.  Pisces has no boundaries, she wants to dream and fantasize without interruption.  Venus doesn’t like boundaries either; she wants to love whoever or whatever she wants.  We could all end up in a sentimental, emotional mush pile during this time.  Watch Virgos go nuts during this time as he tries to tell people to ‘get real.'

Apr 10 – Mercury Square Pluto at 28 Aries/Capricorn. Be careful because some underworld character can rip you off.  Don’t go bragging about how you don’t trust the banks so you have a stack of money hidden in your underwear drawer. Keep mum about your plans. Just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean there isn’t someone out to get you. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 26 Aries to1 Taurus, you are too trusting, be careful.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 26 Capricorn to 1 Aquarius, you are paranoid already, so stop peering out the window.

          Mercury enters Taurus until April 29.  Mercury wants to flit around with the feathers on his ankles and visit one subject then read about another. He is the butterfly of the zodiac. Taurus is not into butterflies. He wants to live on the earth, dig into the earth, and feel he is on solid ground. Taurus is a fixed sign so during this time we may have trouble changing our minds even if the evidence is right in front of us that we are dead wrong.

Apr 12 – Jupiter Conjunct Neptune at 23 degrees of Pisces.  Jupiter conjuncts Neptune every 13 years, but the last time they joined up in Pisces was in 1856. Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces and Neptune is the modern ruler. Therefore this is a triple Pisces aspect.  You could be disillusioned or disoriented.  You could be abducted by fairies, so stay out of the woods and don’t travel to Ireland.  I hear that is where they hang out.  Culturally this could bring in a renaissance in music, film, and art. Look to the house in your birth chart for 23 degrees of Pisces.  This is the area of your life where your creativity will soar. Pisces rules shamans and the other worlds. You could find out you are a medium and start talking to dead people.  Culturally, we could be subject to mass hysteria or be deceived by the media more than usual. Neptune reveals things, and with Jupiter, there could be a big reveal.  Maybe our media will start talking about the leak in the Swiss Bank. The biggest bank scandal the world has ever experienced.  It happened on Feb 20, but this news was obscured by the Ukraine/Russia conflict. Watch the news.  This aspect covers all of April and half of May.  If you have a lot of Pisces energy in your birth chart use this energy to intuit your hidden talents.  A very powerful transit if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 21 to 25 degrees of Pisces. 

Apr 14 – Mars in Pisces until May 24. Just what we need, more Pisces. Mars rules a fire sign and Pisces is a water sign.  If Mars wants to get anywhere, he has to swim. This aspect creates a drive to be charitable and compassionate. Mars could get activated to help the unfortunate in our society.

Apr 16 - Full Moon at 26 Libra.  This will bring fulfillment or culmination of what was promised on the New Moon of April 1.  A Full Moon covers two signs that have opposite energies.  Our job is to reconcile them.  Aries is the self, Libra rules others.  We need to balance our need to be an individual with our need for relationships. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 24 to 28 degrees of Aries or Libra, the next two weeks is a time when you will be dealing with this issue.

Apr 18 – Mercury Conjunct Uranus at 13 degrees of Taurus.  Expect the unexpected.  Sudden, upsetting news could come in to cause you to make quick decisions.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 11 or 14 degrees of Taurus or Scorpio Your brain sparkles and you could have some ingenious, progressive ideas today.

          Sun Square Pluto at 28 degrees of Aries/Capricorn.  Someone is in direct conflict with you.  Try to maintain harmony. That may take some self-control since the other person is a manipulative monster.  Stay calm if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 26 Aries to 1 Taurus or 26 Capricorn to 1 Aquarius.

Apr 19 – Sun enters Taurus until May 20.  This is a good month to attend to all of our practical issues such as your home and garden.  It’s a beautiful time in nature as a lot of the spring flowers are blooming.  The myth for Taurus is King Midas and who was a great rose gardener. He was also very materialistic and loved money, but as he got older he realized that the most valuable thing in the world is our environment, the earth. Prepare to celebrate Earth Day on the 22^nd.

Apr 24 – Mercury Square Saturn at 23 degrees of Taurus/Aquarius. Mercury can get his feathers clipped today.  He wants to flit around and talk to everyone about everything, but Saturn stops him and he has to think before he speaks.  That is very frustrating for Mercury, but may be a good lesson. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 21 to 25 degrees of Taurus or Aquarius, be serious for a change.

Apr 27 – Venus Conjunct Neptune at 24 degrees of Pisces. This is a great day for creative expression and for envisioning a blissful future. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 22 to 26 degrees of Pisces or Virgo, watch your dreams, they may be telling you something important.

Apr 28 – Mercury Trine Pluto at 28 degrees of Taurus/Scorpio. Pluto comes in to help us think through some problems and also he helps us dig deep into what is bothering us. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 26 degrees of Taurus to 1 degree of Gemini or 26 degrees of Scorpio to 1 degree of Sagittarius, this would be a good day to go for some cognitive therapy.

Apr 29 – Pluto retrogrades at 28 Capricorn until Oct 8, 2022. Look for personal planets or the ascendant at 26 Capricorn to 1 Aquarius.  You may want to dive deep into research or try to understand the psychotic people around you.  Take your pick. Also, the area of life covered by the house in the birth chart that contains 28 Capricorn could go through a death and rebirth process.

Mercury enters Gemini until May 10.  Mercury rules Gemini and is very chatty here.  Everyone wants to talk and no one wants to listen.  A good time for writing, learning, and teaching.

Apr 30 – Partial Solar Eclipse at 10 Taurus. This eclipse looks very good.  The ruler of the eclipse is Venus (Venus rules Taurus) and Venus is conjunct Jupiter and the Eclipse is sextile Mars in Pisces and conjunct Uranus in Taurus.  Wow. A great start, abundance, and exciting times ahead.  I will write about how this eclipse will affect you personally in another report.

OUTER PLANET TRANSITS:

JUPITER moved into Pisces on Dec 2, 2021, and he will stay in Pisces until May 10, 2022.  This month he will travel from 21 to 27 degrees of Pisces. Jupiter is the old traditional ruler of Pisces so he is happy here. Jupiter is about growth and expansion and rules travel and education. Also, the areas of your life ruled by the house in your natal chart that contains Pisces will be more joyful and good luck could come in around those areas. Jupiter in Pisces is about our spiritual life and about the fine arts, theater, and poetry.  Pisces is a very creative sign and Jupiter is going to expand it. If you have personal planets or the ascendant between 19 and 29 degrees of Pisces expect expansion and blossoming in that area of your chart.

SATURN is in Aquarius until March 2023.  He is moving from 22 to 24 degrees of Aquarius this month.  Saturn rules our material world, and especially our career.  Saturn is the old traditional ruler of Aquarius.  So he is happy here.  If you have the ascendant or any personal planets 20 to 26 degrees of Aquarius, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. While Saturn is in Aquarius, he will run around trying to restrict all of the social media that he will call fake news.  He hates to see freedom of expression which is what Aquarius is all about.

URANUS is in Taurus until Apr 2026.  This month he moves from 12 to 14 degrees of Taurus.   This is the time to break loose and make some radical changes in your life. I believe in ‘cooperating with the inevitable’.  If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, (10 to 16 degrees of Taurus or Scorpio) go on a long vacation, preferably to somewhere you have never been before.   Or make some major changes in your life. Taurus is the earth.  Expect earth events such as earthquakes volcanos or major weather events during the period that Uranus is in Taurus.

NEPTUNE (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) is in Pisces until 2026. This month he moves from at 23 to 24 degrees.  A lack of focus, a sense of drifting, or an inability to see a betrayal or disappointment until it's too late can be experienced by those of you with the ascendant or Personal Planets at 21 to 26 degrees of Pisces or Virgo. For the enlightened out there, Neptune can also bring artistic, musical, creative expression, increased dreams, and spiritual insights. Watch for some really inspired films to come out during the time Neptune is in Pisces. 

PLUTO is in Capricorn until 2023.  This month, Pluto stays at 28 degrees of Capricorn and turns retrograde on the 29^th.  Profound changes will be felt especially by those with the ascendant or personal planets at 26 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer to 1 degree of Aquarius or Leo.  What needs to die in order to be reborn?

February 2022 Forecast

February will be intense. We have a planetary pile-up in Capricorn, a Venus/Mars conjunction, Mercury will stop in the sky on top of Pluto, and a New Moon that ticks off the Saturn/Uranus square.  Whew!

The highlight of this month is the Venus conjunct to Mars. Venus is Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty and she just could not resist the charms of Mars who is Ares, the god of war even though she was married to the sweet Virgo guy, Hephaestus.  Hephaestus took good care of her and made her girdles and beautiful jewelry with his forge.  In fact, she only married him because of his skill and expertise because he was really quite ugly.   BUT, Ares was just too sexy. Just when they were doing the deed, Helios, the Sun, the big blabbermouth, sees them and tells Hephaestus what was going on. Hephaestus wove a golden net and captured them naked in the bed and strung them up, bed and all so that everyone could see.  Even the gods came to watch and they roared with laughter.

We will have Venus hooking up with Mars for a long time starting at the beginning of this month and becoming very nearly exact on Valentine’s Day and this aspect will continue until the beginning of April. They will be dancing together starting at mid degrees of Capricorn and continue together in early Aquarius on March 7.  They will not separate until April 6.  Check the house in your birth chart that contains late Capricorn and early Aquarius. Don’t do anything indiscreet that could lead to a scandal or to the gods laughing at you.  They don’t need to be entertained, our daily life amuses them enough. AND don’t leave your practical, generous partner for some flash in the pan Ares. Pay attention to the myths, they can guide you.

Feb 1 – New Moon at 5 Aquarius.  This new moon sets off the Saturn Uranus square we have had for most of 2021. We may see this conflict recur for the next two weeks.  This aspect pits Authority against Freedom.  Since Uranus turned retrograde in August 2021, it has been easy for Saturn to bully Uranus into submission.  But Uranus turned direct on Jan 18 and he is in his full power now

 The ruler of Aquarius is Uranus and Uranus stands for truth, rebellion, and the awakener.  Uranus is in aspect to this New Moon, but also the New Moon is conjunct Saturn.   We could see more truth coming to light.  I expect the narrative around the lockdowns, the mandates, and all the other restrictions to collapse.  Watch for this, free at last.

Also, because this new moon is in a square to Uranus we could experience cyber-attacks that affect our food production or banking.  It’s impossible to predict how Uranus will react because he rules surprises.  We could have an earthquake, politically or geographically.  Who knows with Uranus?  Look at the house that contains 5 degrees of Uranus, this is the area of your life that will experience a new start.  See the meaning of the houses here.

The archetype for Aquarius is Prometheus.  He stole the fire from the gods and brought it to mankind.  He was the only humanitarian god. Do an intention on this New Moon to discover the gift that you can bring to the rest of us.

Feb 3 – Mercury turns direct at 24 Capricorn.  He stops in the sky preparing to turn direct right on top of Pluto –another intense aspect having to do with our mind.  Be careful of your writing and speech. Mercury really hates to slog through Capricorn. He likes to flit around on his tiny wings but Capricorn, being an old stick-in-the-mud senex, won’t let him.  So he needs to work on his taxes, pay off his mortgage and take care of the old folks.

Feb 4 – Sun conjunct Saturn at 15 degrees of Aquarius.  There could be some new restrictions happening in the world.  But I don’t think they will last long. We only have one Sun/Saturn aspect every year, take advantage of this and start a new project of hard work.  Saturn loves to see you sweat.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 13 to 17 degrees of Aquarius, declutter and organize your life, make Saturn happy.

Feb 8 – Mars trine Uranus at 11 degrees of Capricorn/Taurus.  This is brilliant.  I love this aspect.  Mars is now in Capricorn in his exaltation which means he performs very well here and he is in harmony with Uranus who tends to be a wild and crazy guy, but Mars will put him to work to create something of value. If you have personal planets or the ascendant, at 9 to 16 degrees of Capricorn or Taurus, get to work on some original ideas.  This aspect will be in orb for a week before this date and a week after.

Feb 11 – Mercury Conjunct Pluto at 27 Capricorn.  This is the last of the three Mercury Conjunct Pluto aspects that we have experienced during the last 2 weeks. Keep your plans and intentions to yourself.  You could meet with complete humiliation if someone finds out about what you are up to.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 25 to 29 Capricorn, Mums the word.

Feb 14 – Mercury enters Aquarius until March 9. This is a repeat from January 14 to the 25^th when Mercury was moving retrograde in Aquarius.  Were you stymied then and not able to see the future?  Maybe you can see your way forward now.  Mercury is pretty bright in this sign.  Aquarius is an air sign and Mercury, the thinker loves it here.  A lot of far-out, original ideas can come to you. Get out your notebook.  Later, some of your ideas may even make sense.

Feb 16 – Full Moon at 27 Leo. On a Full Moon, the Sun is opposite the Moon and It is up to us to integrate the two energies.  The Sun is in Aquarius and the Moon in Leo.  Leo is about ME.  What pleases me, what is good for me, opposite what is good for everyone, what will work for everyone? You may be asked to tone down your narcissism on this one and think about the community.  Check the two houses in your charts that contain 27 Aquarius and 27 Leo.  These are the areas where you need to find a balance between yourself and others.

          Venus conjunct Mars.  I wrote about the relationship part of the conjunction above, but there is another area of our life that Venus and Mars could affect.  Venus rules the arts and Mars rules initiative. So, get out those old dried-up paints, your outdated Nikon camera, or the guitar that has been gathering dust in the corner and start creating something of beauty.  Venus and Mars will help you.

Feb 18 – Sun enters Pisces until March 20.  The ruler of Pisces is Neptune.  During this month you will want to escape from the harshness of the world—to daydream and fantasize about the past.  It’s a good time to join a spiritual group or start a meditation practice.  But try to keep your feet planted on the ground.

Feb 24 – Mercury Square Uranus at 10 Aquarius/Taurus.  News could come in that really irritates you.  In fact, you are irritable about everything today.  You may fall back to your favorite response to it all-- Sarcasm.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 8 to 12 Aquarius or Taurus, try to stay calm.  I think Taurus will be able to do this, but Aquarius?  Not so much.

Feb 26 to the 27^th.  The Moon will join Venus, Mars and Pluto to form a powerful, concentrated pile up in Capricorn.   If you have personal planets or the ascendant between 22 and 29 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, or Cancer expect to be transformed or traumatized.  And also look at the house in your chart that contains Capricorn.  This is the area of your life that could be turned upside down.  ( I know I’m being a little harsh here, but it’s cold outside and snowing AGAIN!)

OUTER PLANET TRANSITS:

JUPITER moved into Pisces on Dec 2.  This month he will travel from 7 to 13 degrees of Pisces. Jupiter is the old traditional ruler of Pisces so he is happy here. Jupiter is about growth and expansion and rules travel and education. Also, the areas of your life ruled by the house in your natal chart that contains Pisces will be more joyful and good luck could come in around those areas. Jupiter in Pisces is about our spiritual life and about the fine arts, theater and poetry.  Pisces is a very creative sign and Jupiter is going to expand it. January 2022 Forecast

Here is a New Year’s Day gift to make you happy.  It is a forecast for 2022 from Astro Butterfly.  She is much more optimistic than I am about this coming year--she must be a Jupiter type.

If you were born between the 19^th and 27^th of February you are in for a treat.  Jupiter, the planet of optimism and good luck will be all over you this month.  I know you are introverted and like to stay at home under the duvet daydreaming, but Jupiter won’t let you. He will push you off the couch and send you traveling, taking classes, taking some risks, and expanding in all areas of your life --including your waistline. (I just can’t deliver good news without a zinger in there.) Pisces has the richest inner fantasy life of all of the signs. Jupiter wants you to act on them. Wake up Pisces! Get moving!

Jan 8 – Retrograde Venus conjunct the Sun at 18 Capricorn. The three days surrounding this aspect can be good for money, possession and assets.  Because Venus is retrograde it is a good time to sit with your financial advisor and see if you need to make adjustments to your portfolio, if you have one. Venus also rules relationships and some of your relationships started to go bye-bye when Venus first turned retrograde on Dec 19.  Don’t make any grand gestures about separation.  Wait until Venus goes direct on January 29-- some healing may occur then.  The two subjects we seem to care about the most are money and love. What do you do about these issues if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 16 to 20 Capricorn? A lot of you expect astrologers to have answers to these sorts of questions.  We don’t!

Jan 11 – Mars Square Neptune at 20 degrees of Sagittarius/Pisces. This can create religious wars or a lot of Twitter wars among people shouting and defending their beliefs.  Admit it! You have no idea what is true or what is real. You are just as confused as the rest of us, Stop banging on your laptop about your nutty dogmatic ideas. No one wants to hear them. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 18 to 22 Sagittarius or Pisces, you may come off a little crazier than you usually do. 

Jan 14 – Mercury turns retrograde at 10 Aquarius until Feb 4 when he turns direct at 24 Capricorn. Here we go again, don’t hide in the closet.  Just don’t sign any contracts, or buy travel tickets without cancellation insurance.  And don’t buy a car, computer and any other mechanical or electrical appliance.  Your mental wires could be crossed if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 8 to 12 degrees of Aquarius when Mercury stops in the sky to turn retrograde.  

Jan 17 – Full Moon at 27 degrees of Cancer/Capricorn. This full moon will conjunct and oppose Pluto.  Things could become rather intense on this Full moon.  There could be difficulties in many parts of the world.  The plutocrats may decide to go to war with one another.  Won’t that be great to see? We could also witness large corporations and banks trying to swallow each other-- sorta like Godzilla vs King Kong.  This will last for the following 2 weeks until the New Moon on Feb 1.  This Full Moon will affect all of us but especially those of you with 25 to 29 degrees of Cancer or Capricorn on your personal planets or the ascendant.  Looking at my old traditional astrologer, he says Sun, Moon and Pluto can lead to “Brutal suppression of the feelings and irritability.”  I wish he would lighten up.

January 18 – Uranus turns direct at 10 Taurus. While you are out there worrying about Mercury retrograde, Uranus will start turning everything upside down and rippling through our lives causing major upheaval.  He is not a very stable guy.  This could be good if you feel stuck. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 8 to 12 Taurus, watch out.  The upheaval could be caused by you.  You are sick and tired of the place you live, the people you live with and your entire life in general.  Oh My!

Jan 19 – Sun enters Aquarius until Feb 18. The Sun in Aquarius can bring unpredictable events that could shock and amaze us.  But this energy will help us make changes and also could bring in some new interesting friends. 

Jan 23 – Sun conjunct Mercury at 3 degrees of Aquarius. You may be planning a trip or planning to take a course.  This is good for the fulfillment of your ambitions.  If you have personal planets at 1 to 5 degrees of Aquarius, take advantage of this day.

Jan 24 – Mars enters Capricorn until March 6. Mars just loves being in Capricorn because he can put all of his energy into building a business, creating something durable, building a house, or buying some property.  He is not as erratic or angry in Capricorn.  He’s too busy.

Jan 25 – Mercury enters Capricorn until Feb 15.  He is moving retrograde now, and Capricorn is the sign of traditional values, so you may decide to go through all of your old family pictures and do some baking and gardening.  Maybe put on one of those dresses the Amish wear.  And for you guys,  I love those black hats on the Amish men.  Go for it.

Jan 28 – Mercury conjunct Pluto at 26 Capricorn.  Keep your intentions to yourself.  You could be totally humiliated because you talked to the wrong person at the wrong time.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 23 to 27 Capricorn, Zip it!

Jan 29 – Venus turns direct.  Now you can move ahead on the important things of life—love and money.  Aphrodite wasn’t happy going backward -- she kept tripping over her gown. Now is the time to bring beauty into your life.

Jan 30 – Sun Square Uranus at 10 degrees of Aquarius/Taurus. Aquarius and Taurus do not like each other.  Aquarius keep spouting metaphysical ideas and bragging about his discovery of the location of Atlantis – Taurus just wants to mellow out and wants him to shut up.  Because of this discordant energy, you can make a lot of mistakes today, especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 8 to 12 degrees of Aquarius or Taurus.

OUTER PLANET TRANSITS:

JUPITER just moved into Pisces on Dec 2.  This month he will travel from 0 to 6 degrees of Pisces. Jupiter is the old traditional ruler of Pisces so he is happy here. Jupiter is about growth and expansion and rules travel and education. Also, the areas of your life ruled by the house in your natal chart that contains Pisces will be more joyful and good luck could come in around those areas. Jupiter in Pisces is about our spiritual life and about the fine arts, theater and poetry.  A very creative sign and Jupiter is going to expand it. If you have personal planets or the ascendant between 0 and 8 degrees of Pisces expect expansion and blossoming in that area of your chart.

SATURN is in Aquarius until March 2023.  He is moving from 11 to 15 degrees of Aquarius this month.  Saturn rules our material world, and especially our career. If you have felt stymied in that area, now is the time to move ahead.  But you need to make plans and put in the hard work. Saturn is the old traditional ruler of Aquarius.  So he is happy here.   If you have the ascendant or any personal planets 9 to 17 degrees of Aquarius, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. The Power of the Dog film

We have been experiencing a transit of Saturn square Uranus all year. This aspect will be exact for the third time on December 24.  Saturn represents control and conformity and Uranus is about the individual and revolt. The Uranus archetype is Prometheus who rebelled against the gods.

I’m not surprised that a film just came out perfectly portraying this aspect.  The film is The Power of the Dog and the director is Jane Campion.  She is the one that directed the film, The Piano. I loved that film and I felt it was a totally Scorpio/Pluto movie. It was released in Nov 1993 and Pluto was in Scorpio that year, squaring Saturn. At that time Saturn was trying to control the passions of Pluto.  I don’t know if Ms. Campion is an astrologer, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she is.  There are more and more closeted astrologers coming out now.

In the Power of the Dog, the Uranus individual is rebelling against his family, the government, and society in general.  In one scene, he won’t take a bath and shave for the Governor who is visiting his ranch. In the end, you see him clean-shaven with a suit on-- he’s been tamed. Saturn wins in this film.  This is not the only theme in the movie, it is complex and rich.

In the Power of the Dog, you feel comfortable at the beginning of the film because you feel you have identified the bad guy versus the good guy,  It all seems like a normal cowboy movie, but as the film goes on, your perceptions start to change.

The only problem I had with the film is casting Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role.  I can’t believe that they couldn’t find an American actor to play a cowboy.  That is why, as much as I loved this film, I think The Piano was better because of the casting -- it was perfect.

December 2021 Forecast

When is this s**t going to end?  If I hear the word ‘variant’ again I'll scream.  Well this month, we have the third of the Saturn/Uranus square.  We have dealt with this aspect all year. Saturn and Uranus don’t get along at the best of times, but when they are in a square aspect, we can all experience the difference in their energies.  In mythology, Saturn castrated Uranus, ouch.  So look for continued protests (Uranus) around the world against lockdown rules (Saturn).  On a personal level, we want to be free for the holiday season, but it doesn’t look good because that pesky Saturn square Uranus is exact on Dec 24 and is only 3 degrees apart at the beginning of this month, so expect restrictions, personally and globally all month.

Dec 7 - Mercury Square Neptune at 20 degrees of Sagittarius and Pisces.   Your rational mind is not too rational today.  You would rather daydream and read romance novels. Especially spacy if you have personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars) or the ascendant at 18 to 22 degrees of Sagittarius or Pisces

Dec 8 – Mars Square Jupiter at 26 degrees of Scorpio/Aquarius.  You get all energized to go out in the street and protest.  Protest what?  You don’t care. You just want to fight with everyone.  Keep your tongue and pen under control if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 24 to 28 degrees of Scorpio or Aquarius.

Dec 11 – Venus Conjunct Pluto at 25 Capricorn. This is not fun.  Persephone is being dragged to the underworld by Pluto.  It’s dark and dingy down there. Venus is love and delight, she wants to be in a cozy, loving relationship, but she meets Pluto, a dark person who shows her things she doesn’t want to look at.  Or maybe you meet your own shadow and that can be scarier than vising the literal underworld.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 25 Capricorn, or Cancer, try not to be obsessive, compulsive, possessive, and controlling in your relationships. Because Venus is moving retrograde on Dec 19 you will have this aspect two more times.  Sorry.

Dec 12 – Sun Square Neptune at 20 degrees of Sagittarius/Pisces.  You could fall into errors of thinking and give someone bad advice. Postpone all decisions for a few days.  Watch Netflix and relax.  Daydream.  You are out of touch with reality if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 18 to 22 degrees of Sagittarius or Pisces.

Dec 13 – Mars enters Sagittarius until Jan 24, 2022. Mars rules our energy and Sagittarius is sports and entertainment.  You become driven and assertive.  Mars is quite happy in an energetic, fiery sign. He rules Aries which is another energetic fiery sign. You are thinking the sky is the limit, but don’t forget Icarus who flew too close to the Sun.   Don’t take on too much or fly too high, you could fall and be disappointed especially if you are a ‘go for it’ Sagittarius.

                  Mercury enters Capricorn until Feb 14, 2022.  Your thinking becomes very practical and you can concentrate on a task.  Your communications become orderly, logical, and organized.  You are a no-nonsense, bottom-line thinker.  But this sounds kind of boring and it is.  Focus on your career which may also be boring.  Mercury is staying in Capricorn for a long time because he goes retrograde next month on the 14^th in Capricorn and turns direct on Feb 4, 2022, still in Capricorn.  It gives you a lot of time to get organized.

Dec 18 – Full Moon at 27 degrees of Gemini.  A full Moon brings in feelings but Gemini just wants to talk.  I hope you don’t start talking about your feelings, no one wants to hear it.  This is the peak of the New Moon on Dec 4 Solar Eclipse.  What did you plan then?  What have you been working on?  This Full Moon could bring a culmination to your efforts.

Dec 19 – Venus Retrograde until January 29, 2022.  Remember when I told you last month that Venus in Capricorn is all about commitment?  Well, not so fast.  You may have moved in together and now you are daydreaming about how great it was to be single.  Try the moving-in thing again in February 2022.

Dec 20 – Mercury Trine Uranus at 11 Capricorn/Taurus.  I like this one; it’s all about being the life of the party.  You are witty and vivacious.  You could take on a new writing project, especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 9 to 13 Capricorn or Taurus.

Dec 21 – Sun enters Capricorn until January 19, 2022.  On this day the Goddess gives birth to the Sun.  We are leaving the darkest part of the year.

Dec 24 – Saturn Square Uranus at 11 Aquarius/Taurus.  This can cause a lot of inner tension for you.  You want to rebel, but realize you may lose the support you need.  If you stay in your comfort zone, you may be giving up on your independence.  What to do?  I wish I knew. This will be especially bothersome for those of you with personal planets or the ascendant at 9 to 13 of Aquarius or Taurus.

Dec 25 – Christmas Day.   Venus Conjunct Pluto at 25 Capricorn again.  What a lousy aspect to have on Christmas Day.  There may be some manipulating, controlling person giving you dirty looks across the dinner table. Who is it, Aunt Mabel?  Stay alert; don’t get dragged into a family drama especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 25 Capricorn.  This aspect will happen once more on March 3, 2022.    

Dec 28 – Jupiter enters Pisces until May 10, 2022.  Look for the house that contains Pisces.  It’s the same house you looked at for stationary Neptune.  The areas ruled by this house will receive abundance, blessing, good luck, and all of the good things of life.  Jupiter is not called the Big, Fat, Happy Guy for nothing.  It is where we get the word jovial, so enjoy yourself.  He will enter my second house of money so I just may become too wealthy to bother writing to you anymore.  Jupiter and Neptune are both in Pisces now and will conjunct on April 22, 2022.  Because Jupiter and Neptune both rule culture, a lot of astrologers are expecting a cultural renaissance.  I’m not so sure, it may just be that Jupiter expands our self-deception or we may see an explosion of fake news.   What a curmudgeon I am, but I’m a daughter of Saturn, can’t help it.

Dec 29 - Mercury Conjunct Venus at 24 Capricorn.  Your speech and writing could become more artistic.  You could receive a letter from a friend or the opposite sex that could lead to a romance. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 22 to 26 Capricorn or Cancer, get ready for a lot of social events.

Dec 30 – Mercury Conjunct Pluto at 25 Capricorn.  If you love someone, keep it to yourself.  The other person could come back at you with wounding sarcasm.   How humiliating.  But that is what Pluto can do.  Stay quiet if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 23 to 27 Capricorn or Cancer.

Dec 31 – New Years' Eve.  No difficult transits today.  Celebrate!

Aug 1 – Sun Conjunct  Mercury at 8 Leo.  Both business and pleasure are favored under this aspect.  Leo wants to play and be entertained.  The Sun lights up the mind and gives you creative ideas.  If you have personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars)  or the ascendant at 6 to 10 Leo, what fun can you have today?

          Mercury opposite Saturn at 10 Leo/Aquarius.  Be careful what you put into writing today.  Saturn can be a little snarky. If you have personal planets at 8 to 12 Leo or Aquarius, your communications today could be critical and morose.

Aug 2 – Sun Opposite Saturn at 10 Leo/Aquarius.  You may have to work extra hard today. You feel the wolf at your back and you don’t feel that you have enough savings.  Go on a budget if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 8 to 12 Leo or Aquarius.

          Mercury Square Uranus at 14 Leo/Taurus. Uranus is cantankerous and ornery. Be careful of your emails today, you may upset someone especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 12 to 16  Leo or Taurus.

Aug 6 - Sun Square Uranus at 14 Leo/Taurus. You can get stirred up by events and want to go out and punch someone in the face.  Control yourself especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 12 to 16 Taurus/Leo.

Aug 8 – New Moon at 16 Leo. This New Moon foretells a month of friendliness, entertainment, and fun.  But, it is conjunct Mercury and square Uranus.  Expect some bright unusual ideas to manifest this month.  All four planets are in fixed signs. This New Moon will bring the Saturn/Uranus square into your life upfront and personally. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 16 Leo or Aquarius or Taurus, you may need to push against resistance in order to accomplish anything.

Aug 9 – Venus Opposite Neptune at 22 Virgo/Pisces. I don’t like Neptune.  He causes confusion and I’m confused enough. On this aspect, he can lead to errors in judgment.  It’s not favorable for borrowing or lending money.  Don’t be persuaded by someone to buy something.  We tend to project on oppositions.  The dreamboat (is that word still in use) that you meet today, is not the person you think they are.

Aug 10 – Mercury Opposite Jupiter at 28 Leo/Aquarius.  You may get full of yourself today. You think your opinions are well thought out and intelligent.  You just can’t help blabbing to everyone today about how brilliant you are especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 26 to 29 Leo and Aquarius or 0 Virgo or Pisces.

Aug 11 – Mercury enters Virgo until August 30. Mercury rules Virgo so he is very happy here.  Virgo is the workaholic of the Zodiac. When Mercury goes into Virgo, you get some great ideas about how to improve your work.  Look for the house in your birth chart that contains Virgo.  This is the area in which these ideas will manifest.  See the meaning of the houses here.

          Venus Trine Pluto at 25 Virgo/Capricorn.  Pluto can be a bad guy, but when he is good (in a trine) he is very good.  Here he brings in some deep solid, sexy relationships especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 23 to 27 Virgo or Capricorn.

Aug 16 – Venus Enters Libra until Sep 10.  Venus rules Libra so she is happy here.  She wants to create beauty around here whether in painting, gardening, or photography.  Venus as Aphrodite was in love with love and her loving energy had no boundaries.  Remember that.

Aug 18 – Mercury Conjunct Mars at 12 Virgo. Mental stimulation.  Virgo is usually a quite timid person, but here they can be quite forceful in their speech.  Be careful how you communicate today; don’t be pushy, especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 10 to 14 of Virgo or Pisces.

Aug 19 – Sun Opposite Jupiter at 27 Virgo/Pisces.  Today you have a tendency to eat too much, drink too much, talk too much and spend too much money. This is especially powerful energy if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 25 to 29 Virgo or Pisces.

          Uranus turns retrograde until Jan 18, 2022.  Uranus stops in the sky before turning at 14 degrees of Taurus. Uranus is intensified all month and can bring clarity.  He is the no-BS planet.  He can also be cantankerous and stubborn.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 12 to 16 degrees of Taurus, try to control yourself.  Taurus is usually such a calm and sweet sign, but during this time, you can get really fed up with the idiots around you.

Aug 20 – Mercury Trine Uranus at 14 Virgo/Taurus.  You feel vivacious and sharp today.  Your mind is taking a creative turn for the better.  You get interested in progressive ideas especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 12 to 16 Virgo or Taurus.

Aug 22 – Mars Trine Uranus at 14 Virgo/Taurus. You could form a new connection under unusual circumstances.  This is a time to make plans for the future especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 12 to 16 Taurus or Virgo.

          Full Moon at 29 Aquarius conjunct Jupiter.  This is a culmination of the efforts that you have made this month. It can bring some positive solutions to areas of your life you have been struggling with.

          Sun Enters Virgo until Sep 22.  This is a time that we go back to school and take our job more seriously because we feel the summer fun is over.

Aug 23 – Venus Trine Saturn at 8 Libra/Aquarius.   A very good day to meet up with friends you have not seen in a long time.  This is also a good time to form a relationship with an older, wiser person especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 6 to 10 Libra or Aquarius.

Aug 24 – Mercury Opposite Neptune at 22 Virgo/Pisces. Your thinking is not too clear today.  You could hear some scandalous news that could be a bit of a surprise.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 20 to 24 Virgo or Pisces, you could see a UFO today and maybe take a ride in one

Aug 26 – Mercury Trine Pluto at 24 Virgo/Capricorn.  A good solid mental aspect.  The mind is grounded in earth signs.  Someone could come in to help you today.  You could do some deep, important research if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 22 Virgo or Capricorn.

Aug 30 – Mercury enters Libra, goes retrograde on Sept 27 at 25 Libra until Oct 18 when he goes direct at 10 Libra.  He finally goes into Scorpio on Nov 5.  Mercury is staying a long time in Libra, so if you are a Libra and/or have Mercury in Libra you may get some new exciting ideas during this time.

 

OUTER PLANET TRANSITS:

JUPITER is in Aquarius and is moving retrograde.  This month he will travel backward from 29 Aquarius to 25 Aquarius.   Jupiter is about growth and expansion especially in travel and education and also in the area of your life ruled by the house in your natal chart that contains Aquarius. Jupiter in Aquarius is about coming up with new techniques and joining forward-thinking groups.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant between 29 degrees of Aquarius, and 25 degrees of Aquarius, expect expansion and blossoming in that area of your chart.

SATURN is retrograde and is moving backward in Aquarius from 10 to 8 degrees.  Saturn is the old traditional ruler of Aquarius.  So he is happy here.   If you have the ascendant or any personal planets 8 to 10 degrees of Aquarius, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. While Saturn is in Aquarius, he will run around trying to restrict all of the social media that he will call fake news.  He hates to see freedom of expression which is what Aquarius is all about.

URANUS is in Taurus until Apr 2026. This month he stays at 14 degrees of Taurus.  Uranus turns retrograde on Aug 19. You will feel a need for freedom and for making some radical changes in your life at this time.  I believe in ‘cooperating with the inevitable’.  If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, (12 to 16 degrees of Taurus or Scorpio) go on a long vacation, move or make some major changes in your life. Taurus is the earth.  Expect earth events such as earthquakes volcanos or major weather events during the period that Uranus is in Taurus.

NEPTUNE (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) is in Pisces until 2026. This month Neptune is retrograde and stays at 22 degrees of Pisces all month.  A lack of focus, a sense of drifting, or an inability to see a betrayal or disappointment until it's too late can be experienced by those of you with the ascendant or Personal Planets at 20 to 24 degrees of Pisces or Virgo. For the enlightened out there, Neptune can also bring artistic, musical, creative expression, increased dreams, and spiritual insights. Watch for some really inspired films to come out during the time Neptune is in Pisces. 

PLUTO is in Capricorn until 2023.  This month, Pluto is moving retrograde and moves from 25 to 24 degrees of Capricorn all month.  Profound changes will be felt especially by those with the ascendant or personal planets at 22 to 27 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer. What needs to die in order to be reborn?

July 2021 Forecast

There are no eclipses this month,  but remember that the result of the eclipses we had in May and June will be in effect until the end of the year.  Here is a report on those eclipses.

I am grouchy today because it is so hot here in Maryland and I just hate the summer, so I’m just going to pick on everyone so that you all will feel as miserable as I do.  So as Bette Davis would say, “Hold onto your hat, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.”

Disclaimer for new readers---  I have a lot of new readers and clients the last few months and I feel guilty that they are not used to my sassy sense of humor. Please understand that every zodiac sign has an immature and a mature way of being expressed.  The three zodiac signs that reflect your personality are the ascendant sign, (how you look and react to your environment), your moon sign, (your emotional needs), and your sun sign, (your core identity). The object of learning astrology is to urge, budge or push these three zodiac signs to be ‘all they can be’ and not manifest in a juvenile manner.  Comedy is all about pitting unevolved, immature zodiac signs (or archetypes) against each other.  It can be hilarious.  The pitting of one sign against the other makes up most of our TV sitcoms and movies.  That is what I am doing here, writing about the downside of each sign. Please try not to be insulted.

Mars is entering the field of battle with Saturn Square Uranus aspect early this month.  We will have this aspect all year.  Read my post on Saturn Square Uranus.  Mars moving into the middle of this square is frustrated by Saturn and irritated by Uranus.

July 1 – Mars Opposite Saturn at 12 degrees of Leo and Aquarius.  Mars and Saturn are male energies, Mars is the macho guy and Saturn is the stern father.  They are duking it out here.  If you have personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars) or the ascendant at 10 to 14 degrees of Leo or Aquarius expect a battle.  You want to move forward but you bump into a stone wall.  It may be another person or it may be your own blindness about an issue.

July 3 – Mars Square Uranus at 13 Leo and Taurus.  Uranus rules Aquarius and the predominant personality of that sign is ‘cranky’.  They get their back up and won’t conform to anything or anybody.  My chart ruler is Uranus (Aquarius rising) so I can really crank up the cranky myself.

This is another battle aspect.  Mars is feeling his oats in Leo and wants to run over any obstacle.  Uranus can put up a resistance that is different than Saturn.  Uranus shoots lightning bolts at Mars and confuses him because Uranus won’t standstill.  This is a prominent issue if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 11 to 15 Leo or Taurus.

Mars opposing Saturn and squaring Uranus sets up a dynamic aspect called a T-square. According to the traditional astrologers, it means “A lack of adaptability that can lead to a separation.”

July 4 – American Independence Day.

July 6 – Mercury Square Neptune at 23 Gemini/Pisces.   Neptune types (Pisces) live out there where the buses don’t run. They build little fairy houses in their garden. They like being in their little fantasy world. They watch Disney movies and paint beautiful pastel pictures of bunnies.  To stay in your little make-believe world be sure not to turn on the TV. On this aspect, Mercury who is usually rational is connecting to Neptune,  the planet of the mystic.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 21 to 25 Gemini or Pisces,  start writing the fantasy novel you have thought about for years or just sit and watch movies on Amazon Prime.  It’s up to you.

          Venus Opposite Saturn at 12 degrees of Leo and Aquarius. It is not a good date night. You feel kinda cold and sarcastic. Stay home, especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 10 to 14 degrees of Leo or Aquarius.

July 8 – Venus Square Uranus at 14 degrees of Leo and Taurus.  Your partner today will consider you ‘certifiable’ and they are not too wrong.   But aren’t we all a little nuts when we are in a relationship?  Don’t we have to be a little cracked to commit to a relationship? Consider that question deeply if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 12 to 16 Leo or Taurus.

Venus sets up a T-square when she enters the fray of Saturn squaring Uranus. This T-square can cause tense relationship issues.  This could lead to a very strong but temporary infatuation and a sudden separation.

July 9 – New Moon at 18 degrees of Cancer.   This New Moon is trine Neptune in Pisces, and sextiles Uranus in Taurus and opposes Pluto in Capricorn.  You are in another world.  There is just too much energy on this one. This is a good time to make an intention around Cancer themes –family, home, safety, and security.  I hate to pick on Cancers because I’m afraid I will make them cry since they are the big crybabies of the zodiac.  They love to be in the kitchen making comfort food for the 15 grandchildren sitting around the dining room table.  UGH.  That is not for everyone, but Cancers love it.

July 11 – Mercury moves into Cancer until the 27^th.  Mercury rules our mind and during the time he is in Cancer, he can become moody, morose, sullen, and glum.  If you don’t have any personal planets or the ascendant in Cancer, you may escape this, but stay away from the Cancer’s around you, they can really bring you down.

July 12 – Mercury trine Jupiter at 1 degree of Cancer and Pisces.    Jupiter rules Sagittarius who says,   ‘No, no, no the sky is not falling, everything is wonderful.’  CLUNK!  Jupiter and Pisces are believers but as an author, Robert Aton Wilson said, “Belief is the death of intelligence”.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 28 or 29 degrees of Gemini or Aquarius or 0 to 2 degrees of Cancer or Pisces, your mind could soar today.  This can be a very creative aspect.

July 13 – Venus Conjunct Mars at 19 Leo.  Venus-ruled Libra people are lovely and charming and that can really get on your nerves at times.  Here Miss Sweetness meets the irresistible sexy guy, they dance or whatever you want to call it.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 17 to 21 degrees of Leo, you can be flirtatious, play at love and not be serious.  You are swept away by the thought of adventure.   The myth for Mars is Jason. He promised Medea he would marry her and didn’t,  Medea being a Scorpio type took revenge by killing Jason AND their children.  So the lesson here is don’t play at love, be serious, OR play at love but not with a Scorpio.

July 15 – Sun Trine Neptune at 23 degrees of Cancer/Pisces.  You know, I appear hardnosed, but I really do believe in fairies.  On this day, they come out to play.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 21 to 25 Cancer or Pisces, this is a great day for you to paint a picture, dance, or go to the theatre.

July 17 – Sun Opposite Pluto at 25 degrees of Cancer/Capricorn.  Most of the signs I have talked about so far have little neurotic patterns that make them unique and interesting.  But they won’t hurt anyone.  But Scorpio, ruled by Pluto? Don’t’ cross them, they’ll ‘kill you.’  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 23 to 27 degrees of Cancer or Capricorn try not to get in an argument today because you can’t win as the opposing forces are too strong.

July 21 – Venus enters Virgo until August 16.  Everyone picks on Virgo because they are such nice guys.  They just sit there and take it.  They can’t stand up for themselves or roar like a lion.  Watch the sad saga of Prince Harry, a Virgo, married to Meghan Markle, a Leo.  As one of my favorite commentators said, “Meghan ripped out his spine and turned him into an invertebrate.”  Virgo can help us become more pragmatic and in touch with the basics of life. You can create some really practical creative projects during this period. Build something beautiful.

July 22 – Venus Opposite Jupiter at 0 degrees of Virgo and Pisces.  Be careful of someone trying to trick you out of cash.  Jupiter is expanding Venus themes.  Don’t overindulge; keep your ice cream consumption down to a pint.  You will find it hard to control yourself if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 0 to 2 degrees of Virgo or Pisces or 27 to 29 degrees of Leo and Aquarius.

          Sun Enters Leo until August 22. This is the time of the year when we want to have fun.  Leo Sun brings us confidence, courage, warmth, and generosity.

July 23 – Full Moon at 1 Aquarius. This Full Moon is conjunct Pluto.  Full Moons are when things are revealed and we can gain clarity.  Here it is revealing our shadow side, ouch.  We didn’t realize we were so nasty.

July 24 – Mercury Trine Neptune at 22 Cancer/Pisces.  Cancer and Pisces are both water signs.  These water signs are compassionate, they feel empathy for all of the suffering in the world.  You will too if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 20 to 24 of Cancer or Pisces.        

July 25 – Mercury Opposite Pluto at 25 Cancer/Capricorn. I haven’t picked on Capricorn yet.  If I do they will think it is part of a conspiracy against them.  Next to Scorpio, they are major lovers of conspiracy theories.  They think the government is trying to control them and that is interesting because Capricorn is the most controlling zodiac sign.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 23 to 27 Cancer or Capricorn, you may want to dig into these types of theories as well.   

July 27 – Mercury enters Leo until August 11. Mercury wants to show off in Leo. He will spout out all that he knows and even stuff he doesn’t know just to be the center of attention. Leo is a playful sign, so enjoy this time, but don’t believe everything you hear.

July 28 – Jupiter backs up into Aquarius again and he will stay here until Dec 28 when he goes back to Pisces.  Those of you with an Aquarius Sun and/or Aquarius Rising can get a boost here. Watch for good Luck, abundance, and expansion.  

July 29 – Mars enters Virgo until September 14. Mars rules Aries. Did you ever notice that when Aries goes after something they bow their head like a ram with horns and they ram through everyone, running them over and knocking aside everything in their path?  That is why we call them ‘pushy’.  They can’t help it.  They get excited about a new thing that they want that is ahead of them that they just go for it.

          Mars opposite Jupiter at 29 degrees of Leo and Aquarius. Jupiter is expanding everything that Mars represents in your birth chart.  Some of us have very gentle Mars placement such as Cancer, Libra, or Pisces.  And others have tough Mars placements such as Aries, Capricorn, or Scorpio.  The tough placements of Mars are looking for an argument, the gentle Mars people will just go to a yoga class.  But the lesson here is to try to use your Mars in a constructive way.   You may get energized or irritated if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 27 through 29 degrees of Leo or Aquarius or at 0 to 2 degrees of Virgo and Pisces.

June 2021 Forecast

We are in the sign of Gemini now.  Not only do we have the Sun in Gemini, but also Mercury and Venus.   I have some advice for the Sun, Moon, or Ascendant Geminis out there.  Most people don’t understand how our thinking works or if it works at all and we are constantly being picked on about our monkey minds.  Here are some comebacks you can use when you are being bullied, badgered, and abused by those fixed and cardinal signs*.  When others say to you that you are not consistent, use this quip from our literary Gemini brother, Ralph Waldo Emerson..

“A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines.”

Here is another response to borrow from fellow Gemini, Walt Whitman when others accuse you of contradicting yourself.

‘So I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)’

Synchronicity Alert. I was writing this on May 24, Bob Dylan’s 80^th birthday and I clicked on Spotify to listen to his latest album ‘Rough and Rowdy Ways and the first song that popped up was called “I Contain Multitudes”.  I love paying attention to synchronicities and the more you acknowledge them, the more they occur.  It feels like the universe was winking at me. Mercury is traveling retrograde until Jun 22. He turned retrograde last month on the 29^th.  He is in Gemini the sign that he rules so let’s try an experiment.  Instead of worrying about snafus while he is retrograde let's imagine a roller coaster ride that is fun and positive. While Mercury is retrograde in Gemini he is squaring Neptune the planet of fog and confusion. Also, we just experienced a Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius/Gemini and we will have another Eclipse in Gemini on June 10^th.  We are in a very changeable period.  Try to stay grounded during this time.

Jun 5 – Mercury Square Neptune at 23 degrees of Gemini/Pisces. This aspect could lead to an overactive imagination that can interfere with your logical processes. This can result in self-deception and the construction of your own little bubble where you have a private version of what is real.  But this can be a positive aspect where we can daydream into existence what we want to bring forth in our life. This impacts those of you with personal planets or the ascendant at 20 to 25 degrees of Gemini or Pisces.

          Mars Opposite Pluto at 26 Cancer/Capricorn.  The God of War is in conflict with the God of the underworld.  It’s like the cops going after the mafia.  Mars is weak in Cancer and Pluto can be pretty tough in Capricorn.  The underworld wins on this one.  This can also represent the energy that wants to confront our deep psychological problems or to fight with a sociopath.  Sorry, the sociopath will win on this one.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 24 to 28 Cancer or Pluto, you will have a battle with the dark side.

          Sun Conjunct Mercury at 20 Gemini.  The Sun is shining a light on our minds and how we express ourselves.  You could get very ambitious now.  It’s time to write your resume.

Jun 11 – Mars enters Leo until the 29^th of July. Mars loves it in fire signs like Leo.  He rules the fire sign of Aries.  He likes to move ahead and accomplish something, but he can run over you while he is barging ahead.  Don’t protest too much, he is the God of War and loves a battle.  In Leo, he wants to find a place or a vocation where he can outshine everyone else.  We may get a boost of confidence during this time.

Jun 13 – Sun Square Neptune at 23 Gemini/Pisces.  These are both mutable signs so neither Gemini nor Pisces knows where they are going.  They just run around in confused chaotic circles.  Here they do a magical dance together creating fantasies and stories as they go along. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 21 to 25 Gemini or Pisces, crank up your creative juices.

Jun 14 – Saturn Square Uranus at 13 Aquarius/Taurus.  This is the second of this major aspect.  It is the most important aspect we will have this year.  The first time we had this square was in Feb and the last one will be in Dec 2021.  This aspect denotes limitations on freedom as we see on all of the Twitter and YouTube posts that have been taken down.  This also denotes tension between liberal and conservative ideas.  In our personal lives, we are torn between taking off on a new adventure and changing our life to give us more freedom (Uranus) vs staying in our comfort zone (Saturn).  If you have strong Uranus placements in your chart and a lot of Aquarius planets you may opt for the former.  If you have a lot of Taurus planets and a strongly placed Saturn you may stay with the tried and true.  This is a time to deal with what is no longer working and to fix it once and for all.  Impactful if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 11 to 15 Aquarius/Taurus.

Jun 20 – Sun Enters Cancer until the 22^nd of July.  Happy Birthday to all of the Cancer’s out there.  This is the time for family and food.  Cancer types really love to sit around the yard with the family with the barbeque grill smoking away. 

          Jupiter Retrograde until October 18, 2021. Jupiter rules expansion, growth, adventure, and good luck.  But he can be too much of a good thing. When he is retrograde, you can look to see if Jupiter is totally out of control in your life. Do you eat too much, drink too much, or spend too much? l During this retrograde you will have the chance to finally take control of Jupiter and overcome addictions, and negative habits.  Jupiter rules belief and you know that ‘Belief is the death of Intelligence’.  Look at your belief systems while Jupiter is retrograde and try to get “Real”. Jupiter is now in Pisces which rules oil and gasoline, so we may see the price of fuel increase which could cause food prices to increase which ties into another transit we are having now: Uranus in Taurus, the sign that rules food and the planet of change.

Jun 21 – Venus Trine Neptune at 23 degrees of Cancer/Pisces. You feel very cuddly and warm and would like an ideal love with a partner.  Since Venus and Neptune favor the arts, I would go paint a picture or write a song instead.  This impacts those with personal planets or the ascendant at 21 to 25 degrees of Cancer or Pisces.

Jun 22 – Mercury turns direct at 16 Gemini.  Wait a few days before you celebrate and order stuff from Amazon. Instead, try to fix the relationships you screwed up because of your miscommunications. You may feel nervous and out of sorts today if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 14 to 18 degrees of Gemini or Sagittarius.

Jun 23 – Sun Trine Jupiter at 2 degrees of Cancer/Pisces. This aspect can present financial and educational opportunities.  We gain a lot of confidence today, so go for it. This impacts personal planets or the ascendant at 0 to 4 degrees of Cancer or Pisces.

          Venus Opposite Pluto at 26 degrees of Cancer/Capricorn.  The story is that Persephone was out picking flowers; she was a real snowflake and just didn’t want to grow up.  But it was time to get married and get real.  Zeus, tell his brother Hades, that he can have Persephone for his wife.  Well you know the story, up comes Hades in a black chariot and abducts Persephone to the underworld.  Now some see this as a tragedy.  I don’t, I see it as a morality tale about holding on to one stage of life too long.  Come on Persephone, stop playing around and grow up.  Are you still holding on to someone, something, or some image of yourself that it is time to eliminate? This aspect impacts all of us, but especially those with personal planets or the ascendant at 24 to 28 degrees of Cancer or Capricorn.

Jun 24 – Full Moon at 3 degrees of Capricorn.  This Full Moon makes a lovely sextile to Jupiter.  This will make Capricorn more optimistic than usual and that is not an easy task.  Capricorn likes to work so this can be the most constructive Full Moon this year.

Jun 25 – Neptune turns retrograde at 23 Pisces and stays retrograde until December 1, 2021. When any planet changes direction, we notice an intensification of the areas connected to that planet.  When Neptune goes retrograde, it brings up old memories, dreams, fantasies, and longings to the surface and challenges us to deal with them.

Jun 27 – Venus enters Leo until July 21.  This is a very romantic and creative aspect.  During this time we want to declare love to our insignificant other or to the whole world.  Our heart is full. “Thou'st made the world too beautiful this year”. - Millay

 

OUTER PLANET TRANSITS:

JUPITER is in Pisces, turns retrograde on June 20 of 2021, and heads back into Aquarius from the end of July until Dec 30, 2021.  This month Jupiter moves from 1 to degrees of Pisces.  Jupiter is about growth and expansion especially in travel and education and also in the area of your life ruled by the house in your natal chart that contains Pisces. Jupiter in Pisces is about our dreams of a better future.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant between 29 degrees of Aquarius, and 4 degrees of Pisces, expect expansion and blossoming in that area of your chart.

SATURN is in Aquarius where he will stay until Mach of 2023. This month he is moving retrograde and will travel from 13 to 12 degrees of Aquarius.   Saturn is the old traditional ruler of Aquarius.  So he is happy here.   If you have the ascendant or any personal planets 10 to 15 degrees of Aquarius, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. While Saturn is in Aquarius, he will run around trying to restrict all of the social media that he will call fake news.  He hates to see freedom of expression which is what Aquarius is all about.

URANUS is in Taurus until Apr 2026. This month he is moving from 12 to 13 degrees of Taurus.  You will feel a need for freedom and for making some radical changes in your life at this time.  I believe in ‘cooperating with the inevitable’.  If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, ( 10 to 15 degrees of Taurus or Scorpio) go on a long vacation, move or make some major changes in your life. Taurus is the earth.  Expect earth events such as earthquakes volcanos or major weather events during the period that Uranus is in Taurus.

NEPTUNE (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) is in Pisces until 2026. This month Neptune goes retrograde on the 15^th.  He will stay at 23 degrees.  A lack of focus, a sense of drifting, or an inability to see a betrayal or disappointment until it's too late can be experienced by those of you with the ascendant or Personal Planets at 21 to 25 degrees of Pisces or Virgo. For the enlightened out there, Neptune can also bring artistic, musical, creative expression, increased dreams, and spiritual insights. Watch for some really inspired films to come out during the time Neptune is in Pisces. 

PLUTO is in Capricorn until 2023.  This month, Pluto is moving retrograde and stays at 26 degrees of Capricorn all month.  Profound changes will be felt especially by those with the ascendant or personal planets at 24 to 28 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer. What needs to die in order to be reborn?

ECLIPSES in May and June 2021

These are the first eclipses of the year and they will be occurring in Sagittarius and Gemini. The themes that these planets and houses represent will become active during this period. 

The first eclipse on May 26 is a Total Lunar Eclipse taking place in the sign of Sagittarius and Gemini. The second Eclipse is a Solar Eclipse on June 10 and takes place in Gemini.  The ancients believed that during an eclipse,” the mighty will fall". They bring endings and beginnings-- births and deaths. The energy from an eclipse can last up to six months and also become active a month before the actual eclipse.

The traditional belief is that rulers are born or die at the time of an eclipse.  President Trump* was born on a Lunar Eclipse in 1946, Prince William was born on a Solar Eclipse in 1982 and Princess Diana died on a Solar Eclipse in 1997. People born on an eclipse have a light that shines out to others and they tend to be popular or important people.

Total Lunar Eclipse on May 26, 2021, at 5 degrees of Sagittarius/Gemini

If you are in Australia, parts of the western US, western South America, or in South-East Asia, you will see this Total Lunar Eclipse that will last about 14 minutes.  

Jupiter will move into Pisces on May 13 and is will square the sun and the Moon of this eclipse. Whatever Sagittarius themes manifest on this eclipse will be even bigger because Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius.  Because Jupiter is in Pisces, it will bring in the mystical aspects of this Lunar Eclipse. This eclipse also conjuncts Mercury and Venus in Gemini.  These are both square to Neptune in Pisces,

Mercury in Gemini is very busy, the mind works overtime. But Neptune wants us to dream, to create music and art. Venus wants us to work on our relationships.  This eclipse is very complicated before of the aspects and its very mutable or unstable because it is in a mutable sign of Sagittarius.  You may feel scattered at this time.

On a Lunar Eclipse, something will end and on a Solar Eclipse, something will begin. A Lunar Eclipse is an opportunity to break habits or eliminate socially conditioned patterns of thoughts and behaviors that stand in the way of self-realization. 

This eclipse affects two signs:  Sagittarius and Gemini. This eclipse rules freedom, the truth, foreign travel, belief systems, and Issues of truth, and justice. 

A Lunar Eclipse can make us more aware of our patterns, and our unconscious motivations. This period of time can bring up old memories and feelings.  Full moon eclipses can bring things to completion that you have been working on. The Sun opposite the Moon lights up the Moon and brings previously unexamined areas of your life into awareness. Repressed energies emerge for confrontation and resolution.  Pay attention to your dreams. Lunar Eclipses are more emotional than Solar Eclipses.  Lunar Eclipses shine a light on things we weren’t aware of.

This is a very important and powerful lunar eclipse because it is a total lunar eclipse which is rare and also a Super Moon which means the Moon is close to the earth. That could bring up some seismic activity. 

Solar Eclipse on June 10, 2021, at 19 degrees of Gemini

The annular phase of this solar eclipse is visible from parts of Russia, Greenland, and northern Canada.

This Solar eclipse is conjunct Mercury in Gemini and square Neptune in Pisces.  Mercury rules Gemini so this eclipse will highlight all Gemini themes to a great extent.  These themes include learning, teaching, writing, and communication of all types.  Neptune loves the non-rational.  He loves fairy tales and myths.  A good time to write or read fantasy novels.

Solar Eclipses tend to relate to sudden events that disrupt our day to day functioning; they are the crisis that seems to come out of nowhere and that suddenly demands all of our conscious attention and focus. They tend to stir things up on a physical and conscious level much more than Lunar Eclipses.

A Solar Eclipse is a powerful new moon so make plans for the future. Set your intentions during this eclipse around Gemini themes – writing, speaking, teaching, networking, and studying.  The 6 months following this eclipse is an ideal time to make a fresh start in all of these Gemini areas.

How will these eclipses affect you?

Eclipses are contrary to the status quo. If impacted by one of these eclipses, your life will not run on the same track it has been on.  But that can be a good thing. Some view eclipses as release and renewal points.  If your birthday falls on or is close to the dates of an eclipse your life will change dramatically in the months and years ahead.

Eclipses repeat every 19 years.  We had solar and lunar eclipses at the same points In May and June of 2002. Look back to what happened then. This will continue a theme that was playing out at that time. But remember, sometimes eclipses get triggered after they occur so events can come in after the eclipse especially within 6 months after the event.

An eclipse tends to emphasize matters related to the house it falls in on your natal chart and what planets it conjuncts or opposes.  The areas ruled by the houses or planets will demand more energy and time from you, at least until the next eclipse in November and December of 2021.   Eclipses open doors and invite you to come in, illuminating and stimulating areas of your life that need your attention.

Remember that planetary energies are archetypal and archetypes can be expressed in many different ways. It’s really based on your consciousness and how you decide to work with these energies.

 

The Lunar Eclipse of May 26, 2021, at 5 degrees of Sagittarius/Gemini will affect you if you have personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and/or Mars) or the ascendant at 3 to 7 degrees of Sagittarius or Gemini.  Also, look at your natal chart for the 2 houses that hold 5 degrees of Sagittarius and Gemini. This eclipse will stir up events related to those houses. What can you shed that you no longer need?

The Solar Eclipse on June 10 at 19 degrees of Gemini will affect you if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 17 to 21 degrees of Gemini.  Also, look at your natal chart for the house that contains 19 degrees of Gemini.  It may mean the end of one set of circumstances and the beginning of another.

May 2021 Forecast

This month, Mercury turns retrograde on the 29^th.  Do all of your significant purchases before that time.

Also, this month there is a Lunar Eclipse on the 26^th  at 5 degrees of Sagittarius/Gemini.

We have 6 trines this month. Trines are generally considered the best and most auspicious aspect of them all, bringing luck, harmony, major synchronicities, and the potential for positive changes. So trines are great, but I should mention that the gods are not pushing you on a trine, so if you want to take action you got to push yourself during a trine.  If you do the energies will flow toward success.  But you have my permission to not strive for anything this month and instead, go on a vacation.  We all deserve it because we have been through a rough couple of years.

May 6 – Venus Trine Pluto at 26 degrees of Taurus/Capricorn.  I love Taurus and Capricorn signs.  They are earth signs and therefore very grounded and the trine means the energies are flowing together.  So this aspect can bring happiness and a party with friends. This aspect impacts personal planets and ascendant at 24 to 28 Taurus or Capricorn.

May 8 – Venus enters Gemini until June 2.  Venus is about your sensitivity and Gemini is about logic and communication. So when Venus is in Gemini, we find it easier to talk about our feelings.

          Venus Square Jupiter at 29 Taurus/Aquarius.  Wait a while before making personal decisions.  You are not very objective now. This aspect  impacts personal planets and the ascendant at 27 Taurus/Aquarius to 1 Gemini/Pisces.

May 11 – New Moon at 21 Taurus. This New Moon Trines Pluto at 26 Capricorn.  This New Moon has a very earthy feel to it.  New Moons are the time for starting something new.  In Taurus, it’s about new beginnings around the body, the earth, money, possessions, food and land. This impacts personal planets and the ascendant at 19 through 28 Taurus/Capricorn.

May 12 – Mercury Trine Saturn at 13 Gemini/Aquarius.  Another great trine.  Make some realistic decisions and then act on your decisions  This aspect impacts personal planets and the ascendant at 11 to 15 Gemini/Aquarius.

May 13 – Jupiter enters Pisces until July 28 when he backs up into Aquarius again.  Jupiter entering Pisces is the biggest deal this month.  He only changes signs once a year

Remember Jupiter is the big, fat, happy guy in the sky. He is very hopeful and optimistic.  In Pisces, he wants to expand our wisdom and spirituality.  Your sense of faith and optimism improves here.  But, he will back out of Pisces on July 28 but will be back for a longer- term stay in 2022.  So hold on to your hopes and dreams so that you can manifest them next year.  While Jupiter is in Pisces this month, he will especially impact personal planets and the ascendant at 0, 1 and 2 degrees of Pisces and Virgo.

May 17 – Sun Trine Pluto at 26 Taurus/Capricorn.  This is another earthy trine. This could indicate an enjoyable collaboration with someone you admire.  All of these Taurus/Capricorn aspects mean that you are making positive land and property deals.  This aspect impacts personal planets and the ascendant at 24 to 28 Taurus/Capricorn.

May 19 – Venus Trine Saturn at 13 Gemini/Aquarius. You could run into a friend who you have not seen in a very long time. You could start a project with this person that will pay off in big dividends. This aspect impacts personal planet s or the ascendant at 11 to 15 Gemini/Aquarius.

May 20 –  The Sun enters Gemini until June 20.  Happy birthday Geminis. The Sun is joining  Mercury and Venus who have moved into Gemini earlier.  Gemini is all about verbal expression and is the most curious sign.  Expect a lot of tongue-wagging and socializing this month.

May 21 – Sun Square Jupiter at 0 Gemini to 0 Pisces.  Jupiter loves to exaggerate the possibilities in your life.  Take a step back and review your options.  This aspect  impacts personal planets and the ascendant at 28 Taurus /Aquarius to 2 Gemini/Pisces.

May 22 – Mercury Square Neptune at 22 Gemini/Pisces.  I have this aspect in my natal chart which is why I can come across as a space cadet sometimes.  And by the way, when a transit in the sky is the same as an aspect in your natal chart that is a good time to figure out how that natal aspect manifests in your life.

May 23 – Saturn turns retrograde until Oct 10.  Saturn is asking you to stop and reassess your career goals.  It may feel like you are not making progress in that area.  While Saturn is retrograde, stop and rethink your plans.  By the time Saturn goes direct, you may have come up with some new ideas about moving forward.

May 26 – A Lunar Eclipse at 5 Sagittarius/Gemini.  Look at the houses in your birth chart that contains 5 Sagittarius and Gemini.  These are the areas of your life that will be lit up on this date and for 6 months to follow.  Your attention will be focused on these areas of your life. May 27 – Venus Square Neptune at 22 Gemini/Pisces.  This could represent conflicting hopes.  Don’t let relatives or friends take advantage of you.  Don’t be timid and a pushover.  Speak your mind. This aspect impacts personal planets at 20 to 24 Gemini/Pisces.

May 29 – Mercury Conjunct Venus at 24 Gemini.  You are a silver-tongued lover on this one.  Your words have a poetic turn.  Use this day to contact friends and relatives because you will seem like a sweet caring person, even though we know better. This impacts personal planets and the ascendant at 22 to 26 Gemini.

          Mercury turns retrograde at 24 Gemini until June 22. Now is the time to go over the past few months and edit and revise any emails and relationship snafus.  This is a good time to step back and review where you want to go and how to get there.

May 31 – Mars Trine Neptune at 23 Cancer/Pisces.   You can control your impulses on this one.  Tension will subside.  You could feel a sense of intuitive freedom.  Take advantage of this one and work on music and art projects.  This impacts personal planets and the ascendant at 21 to 25 Cancer/Pisces.
