There were two news items in October that mirrored what was happening in the heavens, especially the main event which was Pluto stationing and turning direct.
The movie about Elizabeth Holmes, You Can See Everything, debuted onOctober 16, 2026. Holmes, the founder and former CEO of Theranos, a blood-testing startup, became notorious for claiming to have developed revolutionary medical technology that didn't work. She was convicted of defrauding investors in 2022.
During the weekend of the film's debut, transiting Venus retrograde in Scorpio was conjunct Holmes's natal Pluto, suggesting that this was the perfect time for us to witness her underworld journey, echoing the myth of Inanna's descent into the netherworld.
The transits at the time of the movie's release tell the tale. Pluto ended his retrograde passage and turned direct on October 16. At the same time, Venus was retrograde in Scorpio and square Pluto in Aquarius. All the shadow material Pluto had been accumulating since May 2026 erupted into consciousness, where we could all see it.
The combination of Venus in Scorpio and Pluto in Aquarius tells the story of a woman (Venus) caught up in greed, power, and hubris (Pluto), all revolving around technology (Aquarius). The whole enterprise unraveled, and Pluto's direct station brought the story back into the spotlight.
Elizabeth entered prison on May 5, 2023, stripped of her power. On that date, transiting Saturn was conjunct her natal Moon, a transit that can symbolize being locked up, emotionally or physically. When Inanna descended into the underworld, she too was stripped of her emblems of power—her jewelry and clothing—at each of the seven gates.
For more on the myth of Inanna, read Descent to the Goddess: A Way of Initiation for Women by Sylvia Brinton Perera.
Some interesting features of Holmes's natal chart include Jupiter conjunct Neptune in Capricorn, a combination that can indicate believing in the impossible. Capricorn is the empire builder, determined to create something lasting and leave a legacy. Venus and Mercury in Capricorn give her a charming, mesmerizing ability to communicate. Jupiter in its fall in Capricorn can also suggest an unsavory talent for profiting from other people's losses. She also has Mars in Scorpio, so don't expect her to surrender without a fight. She'll hang on until the bitter end.
If Pluto lives up to his reputation, I suspect Elizabeth will eventually pop back up, stronger and more delusional than ever. I doubt we've heard the last of her.

Another Pluto News Story
Last month, I noticed that Jeffrey Epstein's natal chart would be activated by the October transits. These suggested that we might hear more news (Mercury retrograde in Scorpio) involving corruption, money, and the abuse and injustice toward beautiful women (Venus retrograde in Libra).
Sure enough, the following press release appeared on October 26, under the Full Moon in Scorpio/Taurus. This was a revelation involving power and money, with Mercury retrograde in Scorpio still digging up the dirt and Venus retrograde in Libra calling for a reassessment of justice for women.
Judiciary Democrats' Report Details Mounting Evidence Linking Trump to Epstein's Criminal Activities and DOJ's specific accounts Involving 11 women provides more evidence of potential sex crimes.
On the same day the report was released, a federal court ruled that the administration had illegally dismissed a prosecutor connected to the underlying investigation.
Mercury retrograde encourages us to revisit material that may have been overlooked, misunderstood, or left unresolved. And Mercury in Scorpio isn't content to scratch the surface. He wants to know what's buried underneath—and who buried it.
Of course, releasing this report eight days before the election introduces a political dimension that goes well beyond its immediate news value.
I don't think this story is over. Like Elizabeth Holmes, it has a way ofpopping back up. The report was released by a committee led by Representative Jamie Raskin, a Democrat. If Democrats take control of the House in January, Pluto will once again be within two degrees of his position at the time of the press release.
So we may be hearing quite a bit more about this early next year. Pluto, after all, has never been particularly interested in letting sleeping dogs lie—especially when they're guarding buried secrets.

Beginning this month, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are all moving retrograde, revealing unfinished business and bringing old issues back for another look.
Both Mercury and Venus turn direct on November 13. Perhaps that will clear the air. Or at least give us a chance to see what's been floating around in it.
Highlights For This Month
Note to my Astrology Clients. Use your Planetary Placement and Ascendant sheet to find if you have a personal planet (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars) or the ascendant within 2 degrees of the degree of the transits listed below. If so, the transit will have a significant impact on you.
Nov 1 – Daylight Saving Time Ends at 2 AM. Turn your clocks back one hour. Enjoy the extra sleep.
Nov 4 – Sun Conjunct Mercury at 12 Scorpio. This is an excellent aspect for mental work that requires concentration and attention to detail. The Sun's vitality combines with Mercury's intellectual energy, sharpening your mind. However, with Mercury retrograde, you may find yourself revisiting old ideas, revising plans, or discovering that something you thought was settled needs another look.
b – New Moon at 16 Scorpio. This begins a new Scorpio cycle, emphasizing passion, resourcefulness, focus, depth, and psychological insight. Now is the time to develop your skills in self-mastery and identify whatever makes you feel out of control—whether addictions, debts, compulsions, or emotional entanglements. Scorpio encourages you to confront these burdens and begin freeing yourself from them.
This New Moon favors genuine, lasting change rather than superficial adjustments. Privacy and determination matter more than public announcements. Under Scorpio, important new beginnings often take place quietly, gathering strength over the following weeks.
With Mercury and Venus preparing to turn direct in just a few days, this is an especially intense and introspective New Moon. The message is clear: Clear out the old to make room for the new. And Scorpio, being Scorpio, would prefer that you dig all the way down to the basement.
Nov 13 – Mercury and Venus Turn Direct. This is a turning point in the Mercury and Venus retrograde stories. Both planets finally change direction, allowing you to move forward with greater clarity.
Venus turns direct at 22 Libra, encouraging us to reassess relationships, values, and desires. During her retrograde period, unresolved feelings, old attractions, and familiar relationship patterns may have resurfaced. People from your past may have returned, offering opportunities for closure or a fresh perspective.
Now is the time to begin making clearer commitments, smoothing out relationship difficulties, and reaching agreements. You may finally understand what you want—and perhaps, more importantly, what you don't want.
Mercury turns direct at 5 Scorpio. Slowly but surely, information begins to flow again, both in our personal lives and in the larger world. Confusion starts to clear, delayed decisions move forward, and conversations that seemed to go nowhere may finally produce results.
While Mercury was retrograde, you had an opportunity to catch up, refine the details, and change your minds if necessary. Now you can begin putting those revisions into action.
Nov 16 – Mars Conjunct Jupiter at 25 Leo. Optimism, enthusiasm, and onfidence are running high. You may feel inspired to take a chance, launch a project, pitch an idea, or pursue a goal that requires a bigger vision.
This is one of the more dynamic and potentially fortunate transits of the month. Something you begin now may continue to grow. However, if you're a Sagittarius or have two or three strong Jupiter aspects in your natal chart, watch out. You may be tempted to go too far, take too many chances, or promise more than you can deliver.
Jupiter doesn't always know when enough is enough, and Mars isn't particularly interested in applying the brakes.
Nov 18 – Sun Square Jupiter at 25 Scorpio/Leo. You could encounter a setback today, perhaps because your expectations were too high or you took on more than you could handle. Try to be philosophical about it. Go back to the drawing board, make some adjustments, and try again on the 22nd.
Nov 19 – Sun Square Mars at 27 Scorpio/Leo. Handle everyone with kid gloves today. People are edgy, impatient, and eager for a fight. Don't give them one unless you enjoy unnecessary conflict.
Nov 22 – Sun Enters Sagittarius Until Dec 21. The arrow of Sagittarius points toward the heavens, symbolizing your desire to reach for something higher. After weeks of Scorpio's intense emotional excavations, it's time to drag yourself out of the underworld and look for something uplifting.
Sagittarius is expansive, adventurous, and optimistic. You now want to explore, discover, travel, learn, and find meaning in life. Plan a trip, go on an adventure, take a class, or explore an unfamiliar philosophy. The Sun represents vitality, identity, and our conscious sense of purpose. In Sagittarius, it encourages us to look beyond our immediate circumstances and imagine greater possibilities.
Just in time for the holiday season, Sagittarius reminds you that life is more than a series of problems to solve. Sometimes it's an adventure to be enjoyed.
Nov 23 – Sun Trine Neptune at 1 Sagittarius/Aries. A lovely aspect for friendship, love, romance, and spiritual inspiration. Your imagination is stimulated, and you may feel more compassionate and receptive to others. A good day to appreciate beauty, enjoy music, or spend time with someone who shares your dreams.
Nov 24 – Full Moon at 2 Gemini. The Gemini Moon opposes the Sagittarius Sun, highlighting the tension between facts and meaning, details and the bigger picture.
Gemini encourages logical thinking, curiosity, and attention to our immediate environment. Sagittarius urges us to venture beyond the familiar in search of larger truths and broader perspectives. Gemini can be perfectly content in the neighborhood—as long as there are enough books to read. Sagittarius wants to know what's happening on the other side of the world and whether there's a plane leaving this afternoon.
This Full Moon concerns communication, attitudes, learning, and our sense of adventure. Something has been building within you, and now the cosmos practically demands that you express it. Over the next two weeks, you may discover what these emerging feelings and ideas mean for your life.
This Full Moon also conjuncts Uranus, squares Mars, trines Pluto, and sextiles Neptune, adding surprise, excitement, and emotional intensity. Sudden insights or revelations may change your perspective. You may feel a powerful desire to break free from old patterns, especially in relationships.
With Neptune and Pluto involved, these experiences may carry a deeper psychological or spiritual significance. Yet the square to Mars can also leave you feeling impatient, conflicted, or pulled in several directions. The challenge is to welcome new possibilities without feelingc compelled to act on every impulse. Not every revelation requires an immediate revolution.
Nov 25 – Mars Enters Virgo. Mars enters Virgo and will turn retrograde on January 10, 2027, at 10 Virgo. He backs into Leo on February 21 and finally turns direct on April 1 at 2 Leo. Mars represents action, initiative, courage, desire, competition, and physical energy. In Leo, where he has been since late September, his style was bold, dramatic, confident, and occasionally a bit theatrical.
In Virgo, that energy becomes more precise, practical, analytical, and efficient. Rather than seeking applause, Mars in Virgo wants to get things done—and preferably get them done correctly. You may feel motivated to organize your life, improve your health habits, tackle neglected tasks, or fix whatever isn't working. Physical activities such as jogging, fitness training, cleaning, gardening, or handicrafts canprovide constructive outlets for excess energy.
Anger may become more controlled, but it can also express itself through irritability, perfectionism, criticism, or nervous tension. You could even become a little prudish. Mars in Virgo is excellent at spotting what's wrong. The trick is to resist pointing it out every five minutes.
Sun Opposite Uranus at 3 Sagittarius/Gemini. Someone in your environment may be particularly cranky, rebellious, or determined to tell you how to live your life. Try to be tactful, especially when confronted with unsolicited advice. Unexpected disruptions are possible, so leave some room for flexibility.
Nov 26 – Thanksgiving Day. A good day to count your blessings. With Mars now in Virgo, try not to count everyone else's mistakes.
Nov 29 – Uranus Trine Pluto at 3 Gemini/Aquarius. Get ready for unusual ideas, unexpected opportunities, and new doors opening. This is a powerful, long-lasting aspect that will remain influential for months.
Uranus represents innovation, sudden change, awakening, freedom, technology, and liberation from outdated structures. Pluto symbolizes profound transformation, power, regeneration, and the dismantling and rebuilding of systems at their foundations.
Together, these two planets can produce breakthroughs in technology, communications, science, and collective thinking. Uranus wants to revolutionize the future, while Pluto insists that the transformation must go all the way down to the roots.
If your Ascendant or personal planets are near 3 degrees of Gemini Sagittarius, Aquarius, or Libra, pay attention to opportunities that arise. Something that once seemed impossible may suddenly become practical. This is not simply change for the sake of change. It is the potential for fundamental transformation, both personally and collectively.
Nov 30 – Sun Trine Saturn at 8 Sagittarius/Aries. This is a supportive aspect for concentrating on long-term plans, organizing your life, and attending to responsibilities. It's also favorable for working with elders, helping those in need, and demonstrating your integrity through service.
The Sun brings vitality and purpose, while Saturn supplies discipline, patience, and practical judgment. Together, they help us turn good intentions into lasting accomplishments. This is serious, work- focused energy. Not terribly glamorous, perhaps, but someone has to keep the wheels from falling off.
OUTER PLANET TRANSITS FOR NOVEMBER 2026
JUPITER is in Leo until July 26, 2027. This month, its influence is especially important for those with natal planets around 24 to 26 degrees of Leo or Aquarius. Jupiter in Leo expands confidence, creativity, generosity, and the desire to be recognized for what is unique and heartfelt within us. It favors performance, teaching, leadership, romance, children, art, play, and situations where warmthand personal radiance matter.
At its best, this is a big-hearted placement: proud but encouraging, dramatic but inspiring, loyal and life-giving. The danger is excessive pride, an endless need for applause, or the tendency to turn every situation into a stage. The real gift of Jupiter in Leo is learning to shine in a way that gives others permission to shine as well.
SATURN is in the fiery sign of Aries. This month, he moves retrograde from 9 to 8 degrees of Aries. Saturn governs structure, discipline, responsibility, and the material realities of life. If your Ascendant or personal planets are around 8 to 11 degrees of Aries, you may encounter lessons involving courage, independence, responsibility, and self-reliance. Saturn in Aries asks us to take initiative, but to do so with patience and good judgment. Aries wants to charge ahead, while Saturn insists that we first examine the consequences.
URANUS is in Gemini until August 13, 2040. This month, he movesretrograde from 4 to 3 degrees of Gemini. Uranus symbolizes change, awakening, liberation, and the sudden breaking of old patterns. If Uranus strongly aspects your Ascendant or personal planets, especially between 3 and 7 degrees of Gemini or Sagittarius, you may experience a powerful urge to free yourself from stale routines or outdated ways of thinking.
New ideas can arrive unexpectedly. You may discover that beliefs you've held for years no longer make sense. You could surprise yourself—and possibly everyone around you. Rather than resisting change, consider whether the disruption is opening a door that you hadn't previously noticed.
NEPTUNE travels through Aries throughout November, moving retrograde from 2 to 1 degree. Those with Ascendants or personal planets between 0 and 4 degrees of Aries may experience heightened sensitivity, uncertainty, inspiration, or a search for a new direction.
Neptune can blur boundaries and cloud judgment, but it can also awaken imagination, compassion, and spiritual vision. After spending many years in Pisces, Neptune's move into Aries marks an important shift from passive dreaming toward active imagination. Aries is the warrior, and Neptune is the visionary. Together, they can inspire us to act on our ideals. The question is: What dream are you willing to fight for?
PLUTO remains in Aquarius until 2043–2044. This month, he is moving direct, remaining at approximately 3 degrees of Aquarius. Pluto's influence is profound and transformative. He brings hidden psychological material to the surface, often exposing fears, compulsions, power struggles, and patterns we would rather leave buried.
Those with Ascendants or personal planets between 1 and 5 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio may experience this energy most strongly. Pluto's process can be intense, but it offers the possibility of genuine
empowerment by revealing what must be confronted, transformed, or released. Pluto doesn't usually ask permission before rearranging your life. He simply starts excavating and assumes you'll eventually
appreciate the improvements.
Enjoy Thanksgiving,
Janet Kane
