Astrological Forecast for November 2025
Grand Trine in water signs. Retrograde outer planets
10/31/20258 min read
We are still experiencing a rare Grand Trine in water signs this month, which began in the latter part of October. Mars is at 27° Scorpio, Jupiter at 24° Cancer, and Saturn and Neptune at 29° Pisces. The water signs bring strong emotions, intuition, dreams, and nostalgia for the past. Water energy seeks belonging and close, heartfelt connection.
If you find yourself overly emotional at the beginning of the month, take heart—this influence eases on the 4th, when Mars enters Sagittarius and returns to his fiery, restless, “I-want-to-get-moving” self. But another water trine forms on the 22nd, when Mercury joins the mix and trines Saturn and Jupiter.
To interpret aspects like this Grand Trine, you can build a simple sentence using the planetary keywords. For example: This aspect brings sensitivity (Pisces) and remembrance of family members (Cancer) who have passed on (Scorpio). The positive side of water signs is their capacity for profound healing and emotional release—they help us come to terms with loss. If you have the Sun, Moon, or Ascendant in a water sign, take out the old photo albums and enjoy reminiscing. If you’re an air sign—Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius—you may find you can’t simply “think” your way out of the melancholy that may settle like a gentle, damp blanket.

This month resembles October in another way: three outer planets remain retrograde, soon joined by Jupiter and Mercury, for a total of five planets in retrograde motion. Expect reversals, second thoughts, and people changing their minds, beliefs, or interests.
A striking example came just days ago when Bill Gates reversed his position on climate change, admitting that “we’re not all going to die after all.” After years of alarming predictions that unsettled young people and even influenced couples to delay having children, Gates now says the world isn’t ending anytime soon. In 2021, he predicted that Florida would be underwater by now—how many retirees reconsidered moving there because of that?
Why such dramatic reversals? In a capitalist system, the answer often lies in the money. Gates likely profited from his investments in green technology and is now shifting into AI—an industry that consumes more energy than a small country. To be clear, the climate is warming, but this is partly because we’re emerging from the a mini ice age that ended in the 1850’s. Even Gates now concedes that humanity will endure.
Gates and other global investors hold large stakes in media companies, which shape public perception. So to avoid being swept up in the next wave of fear-based narratives—----turn off the TV-- and think for yourself. Watch for more reversals around November 5, when the Full Moon in Taurus brings new insights and surprising turnarounds.

Mercury turns retrograde on the 9th at 6 degrees of Sagittarius and stays retrograde until Nov 29, when he turns direct at 20 Scorpio. With Mercury regrade in Sagittarius, he will affect areas related to travel, higher education and beliefs. In Scorpio, he relates to deeper issues, shared resources and secrets. Expect some bumps and detours in these areas.
Highlights for this month:
Note to my Astrology Clients. Use your Planetary Placement and Ascendant sheet to find if you have a personal planet (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars) or the ascendant within 2 degrees of the degree of the transits listed below. If so, the transit will have a significant impact on you.
Nov 2 – Venus Square Jupiter at 25 Libra/Cancer. You might feel like saying “yes” to everything from dessert to bad ideas, but easy there,—your eyes are bigger than your emotional stomach today. Keep that heart of yours in check before it starts writing checks your schedule (or wallet) can’t cash.
Nov 3 – Mars Trine Neptune at 29 Scorpio/Pisces. You’re swimming in inspiration now, so let your inner poet or dreamer take the wheel—but keep one foot on dry land so you don’t chase mirages. Think of it as “go with the flow,” not “get swept out to sea.” Or “Pray to God, but tie your camel”
Nov 4 – Mars enters Sagittarius until Dec 15. Buckle up, Mars in Sag is like rocket fuel for your wanderlust and opinions. You’ll be ready to chase truth, tacos, or trouble, whichever comes first.
Mars opposite Uranus at 0 Sagittarius/Gemini. Surprise! Just when you thought you had it all figured out, life flips the table for fun. Stay flexible, avoid picking fights with machines, and remember—sometimes rebellion just needs a snack and a nap.
Nov 5 – Full Moon at 13 Taurus. You’re feeling like nesting with snacks and soft blankets—Taurus moons are basically cosmic permission to get cozy. Just don’t confuse “self-care” with “I ate the whole pie because astrology told me to.”
Nov 6 – Venus enters Scorpio until Nov 30. Love gets spicy, secretive, and maybe just a smidge dramatic—like a soap opera with candlelight. You’ll want passion or nothing, so maybe hide the truth serum before dinner conversations get too honest
Nov 7 – Uranus backs into Taurus and turns direct at 27 Taurus on Feb 3rd 2026 and goes back into Gemini on April 25, 2026. Old surprises come back like an ex with a new haircut—same chaos, fresh look. Expect the unexpected, and maybe keep your valuables and your emotions in separate drawers for a while.
Venus Square Pluto at 1 degree of Scorpio/Aquarius. Power plays and deep feelings collide—try not to bite the hand that offers affection and chocolate. You’re craving intensity, but the biker with the black jacket and tattoos may not be what you need right now.
Nov 9 – Mercury Retrograde until Nov 29. Back up your files, double-check your texts, and don’t argue with AI or the GPS. Mercury’s moonwalking again, and it’s basically the universe saying, “Slow down, genius—did you really send that email?”
Nov 11 – Jupiter turns regrade at 25 Cancer and he turns direct Mar 10 at 15° Cancer and then stays in in Cancer until June 30, 2026. You might feel like your good luck took a coffee break—but don’t fret, Jupiter’s just teaching you that “inner growth” sometimes means sitting still long enough to notice your blessings instead of chasing new ones.
Nov 12 – Mercury Conjunct Mars at 5 degrees of Sagittarius. Your mouth’s running faster than your brain today, so maybe count to three before you let those “truth bombs” fly. Honesty’s great—but maybe skip the flamethrower version.
Nov 17 - Sun Trine Jupiter at 25 Scorpio/Cancer. Now you’re cooking with gas—opportunities sparkle like gravy on biscuits. Luck’s on your side, but you still have to show up to the table, so grab your fork and dig in.
Sun Trine Saturn at 25 Scorpio/Cancer. Steady wins the race here. It’s the kind of transit that pats you on the back for being responsible—so go ahead, do the boring thing and feel smug about it later.
Nov 18 Mercury backs up into Scorpio, moves direct on at 20 Scorpio and stays in Scorpio until Dec 11. You’re diving deep again, looking for truth with a flashlight and a magnifying glass. Just remember, not every mystery wants solving before bedtime.
Nov 19 – Mercury Opposite Uranus and trines Neptune at 29 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus and Pisces. Your mind’s sparking like a faulty toaster—bright ideas and short fuses all at once. Write down the genius parts and sleep on the crazy ones; Neptune’s handing out dream coupons tonight.
Nov 20 – New Moon at 28 Scorpio. It’s time to shed old skins like a wise old snake. Set intentions that feel raw, real, and slightly terrifying—that’s how you know you’re alive.
Sun Conjunct Mercury at 28 degrees of Scorpio. You’re sharper than a tack and twice as curious—but be careful not to use that brain like a scalpel on everyone’s secrets. Your words carry X-ray vision right now, so when you speak, it’s less “small talk” and more “soul surgery.”
Nov 21 – Sun enters Sagittarius until December 21. While in Sagittarius, the Sun opposes Uranus and trines Neptune. The vibe shifts from brooding to “let’s road-trip to enlightenment.” Sagittarius is the vagabond. You’ll want adventure, but expect detours and epiphanies in equal measure—pack snacks and an open mind.
Nov 22 – Mercury Trine Saturn and Jupiter at 25 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces and Cancer. Another grand trine in water. Did you eel really hurt during the first 3 days of this month? Well, it’s back for a few days so ‘get a grip’. Finally, your words and wisdom are shaking hands instead of wrestling. Say what you mean, mean what you say, and maybe throw in a punchline for good measure.
Nov 24 – Mercury Conjunct Venus at 21 Scorpio. You are a silver tongued devil today. You works are dipped in honey—just try not to overdo the syrup. Perfect day for sweet talk, art, and writing love notes to your future self.
Nov 26 – Venus Trines Jupiter, and Trines Saturn at 25 degrees of Scorpio/Cancer and Pisces. This is another grand water trine. I can’t stand all of this gooeyness. This is cosmic comfort food—warm, reliable, and just indulgent enough. Love, money, and good sense all agree for once, so enjoy the harmony while it lasts.
Nov 27 – Saturn turns direct at 25 Pisces. The cosmic traffic cop finally waves you through—progress resumes, but don’t gun it. Ease forward, keep your blinker on, and remember: Saturn loves a cautious driver.
Nov 29 – Mercury turns direct at 20 Scorpio and Venus opposes Uranus at 27 Scorpio/Taurus. Brains back online! But hearts? Not so much—expect love plots to twist like a soap opera marathon. Breathe, laugh, and keep your emojis gentle. The planet of love opposing Uranus is not very loving and kinda cranky.
Nov 30 – Venus enters Sagittarius until December 24 and trines Neptune at 0 degree of Aries. Love packs a suitcase and heads for adventure. You’re chasing beauty and truth with starry eyes—just don’t forget where you parked reality.
OUTER PLANET TRANSITS FOR OCTOBER 2025
JUPITER is in Cancer until June 20, 2026. This month, he will go retrograde on the 11th at 25 degrees of Cancer and moves to 24 degrees by the end of the month. Jupiter is the big, fat, happy guy who is expansive in everything. In Cancer, he wants to expand your home and family. Watch out for intrusive visitors, family members moving in or unexpected pregnancies. This transit can bring luck and blessings to our home and family, but sometimes it could be too much of a good thing. Especially if you have natal planets at 26 and 27 degrees of Cancer or Capricorn.
SATURN will be in Pisces until Feb 2026. This Saturn is moving retrograde until the 27th when he turns direct at 25 Pisces. Saturn stays at 25 degrees of Pisces all month. Saturn rules your material world and especially your career. If you have the ascendant or any personal planets anywhere from 23 to 27 degrees of Pisces, you may be in store for some hard lessons about the issues in the house containing Pisces. Pisces wants to dream, listen to music and paint pictures, but Saturn says, sorry, you have work to do.
URANUS entered Gemini on July 7 and will retrograde into Taurus on the 7th of this month. The 7th is a potent, maybe unpredictable time of change. This is the time to break loose and radically change your life. I believe in ‘cooperating with the inevitable.’ If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets (28 degrees of Taurus to 3 degrees of Gemini or 28 degrees of Scorpio or 3 degrees of Sagittarius. ) go on an extended vacation, preferably to somewhere you have never been before. Or make some significant changes in your life. Gemini represents communications so expect to get some shocking new information while Uranus is in Gemini.
NEPTUNE is in Aries until March 2039. This month he is moving retrograde and stays at 29 degrees of Pisces all month. If you have the ascendant or personal planets anywhere from 27 degrees of Pisces to 2 degrees of Aries, you may lack focus during this time and want to daydream. Beware of a betrayal, a disappointment, and a sense of drifting. Neptune can also bring artistic, musical, and creative expression, increased dreams, and spiritual insights. While Neptune has been in Pisces since April 2011, you may be feeling like a victim, But when Neptune enters Aries in late January 2026, you will decide to take charge of your destiny.
PLUTO is in Aquarius until 2043. Pluto is moving direct this month and stays at 1 degree of Aquarius all month. Pluto grinds away at your psyche, bringing up all sorts of complex psychological issues. You should run to your nearest therapist, especially if you have the ascendant or personal planets anywhere from 0 to 3 degrees of Aquarius. Pluto asks what needs to die to be reborn.
