The Eclipses, Pluto and Me

4/7/20261 min read

I really wanted to write about astrological April for all of you because it is such a pivotal month. But Pluto and the eclipses had a different plan for me. I broke my hip on March 5, had hip replacement surgery the next day and have been in the hospital and then rehab until last Monday. Recovery has been a challenge, but I am making definite progress.

The February 17 Solar eclipse and the March 3 eclipse hit very sensitive points in my chart. Those eclipses hit my Uranus in the 4th house which is also experiencing a Uranus return. Well, the traditional definition of that aspect is an unprecedented trip away from home to somewhere you have never been before. So, of course I thought I was going to leave home and go on a vacation. But the March 3rd eclipse was in my 8th house, the house of Pluto of death and rebirth. I tend to ignore Pluto because I don’t like him very much.

Interestingly, the rehab part of the Easton Hospital is on the same floor as the maternity ward. So for an entire month, I would pass elderly people shuffling along in the hall with their walkers and we would pass each other and smile, acknowledging each other. And then a lullaby would play over the speakers announcing another baby was born. Pluto was mocking me all month.

I don’t want to leave you without a forecast for April, so here are two of my favorite astrologers covering this month.
