May is a good month, especially compared to last month. The outer planets do not have challenging aspects, and Mars and Venus are in their home signs. Mars in Aries means we can positively direct our energy with few hindrances, and Venus in Taurus means we are loyal and grounded in our relationships.
Planets are moving from Taurus, an Earth sign, to Gemini, an air sign. Taurus is a fixed sign and is all about stability and safety. Gemini is flexible and adaptable and is concerned with information, learning, teaching, and talking; oh, how they can talk! Taurus is quieter and more thoughtful. She wants to stay home, and Gemini wants to travel. Taurus wants to luxuriate in a bubble bath. Gemini has no time for a bath--a quick shower, and she’s off looking for someone to talk to. We will all experience the Taurus energy, especially on May 7, when we will have the Moon, Sun, Jupiter, Venus, and Uranus in Taurus. Look for the house in your birth chart that contains Taurus, as you will have opportunities and surprises in the areas ruled by that house. See the Meaning of the Houses here.
The energy from the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction on April 20 is still with us because the Sun and Venus are activating them this month. The Sun and Venus first hit Uranus, causing a desire for freedom, and then they impact Jupiter, creating an optimistic outlook. If the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction at 21 degrees of Taurus impacted an essential placement in your chart, these aspects may bring up the same themes you experienced during the conjunction

He reenters Aquarius on Nov 19 and stays in Aquarius for 2 decades. With Pluto back in Capricorn, some revelations about our government institutions with political secrets coming out may be exposed. In Aquarius, Pluto will reveal what happens when the people rebel against these institutions and then express freedom at all costs.
May 7 – New Moon at 18 Taurus conjunct Uranus. You could start something new that is both stable and potentially transformative. It's an excellent time for financial planning, embracing new technologies or methods, and redefining what security means to you.
May 12 – Mother’s Day, and the Moon is in Cancer, the sign of the mother. It is a very motherly Mother’s Day. Celebrate with good food and family.
Mars triggers the April 8 Total Solar Eclipse at 19 Aries. Mars can bring about action regarding the meaning of the Total Solar Eclipse. This will be noticeable if the eclipse impacts one of your planets.
May 13 – Sun Conjunct Uranus at 23 Taurus. This aspect could bring sudden changes in your values or finances. Significant fluctuations could occur in areas where you usually prefer stability. It’s time to embrace the new and unconventional.
May 15—Mercury enters Taurus until June 3. Mercury influences the way we think, communicate, and process information. This is a good time for planning and discussing long-term investments and taking a steady and practical approach to learning and communication. This period favors persistence in mental tasks.
May 17 – Mercury in Taurus Squares Pluto in Aquarius at 2 degrees. This aspect can lead to profound insights and breakthroughs. It can also intensify mental processes, leading to obsessive or compulsive thinking, particularly about issues of control, power, and transformation. Communication can be intense and may involve power struggles or confrontations.
May 18 – Venus conjunct Uranus at 23 degrees of Taurus. During this aspect, you can suddenly be attracted to someone new or experience changes in your relationships. Venus also relates to art and beauty, so this transit might lead you to discover new unconventional artistic styles or ways of decorating and enjoying the beauty that breaks tradition.
Sun Conjunct Jupiter at 28 Taurus. This favorable transit offers growth, prosperity, and a heightened enjoyment of life. Take advantage of the opportunities that come your way, particularly those that can enhance your material and physical well-being. With all the expansive energy focused on pleasure and material gains, there's a risk of overdoing it—taking on too many projects, aiming too high, or taking on a job you are unprepared for.
May 20—The Sun Enters Gemini until June 20. This is a period of increased curiosity, communication, and versatility. Mercury rules Gemini, an air sign that governs thinking, communication, and information exchange. This transit often brings a more playful approach to daily interactions, making it a fun time for social activities and casual gatherings. It's an excellent time to connect with others and explore various interests with enthusiasm and curiosity.
May 22 – Sun in Gemini Trine Pluto in Aquarius at 2 degrees. This powerful and harmonious aspect blends Gemini's communicative and intellectual tendencies with Pluto's transformative and intense energies in Aquarius. This aspect tends to be quite positive, facilitating profound change and empowerment in natural and unforced ways. Gemini's love for ideas and Aquarius’s innovation can combine to produce creative and transformative solutions to complex problems, especially those that impact larger groups or communities.
May 23 – Full Moon at 2 Sagittarius sextile Pluto. This Full Moon illuminates themes of exploration, freedom, and the pursuit of truth. Sagittarius is concerned with higher learning, philosophy, and broadening one’s horizons. There may be a heightened ability to see the bigger picture or to connect the dots in ways that were not previously apparent. The sextile to Pluto in Aquarius makes this an excellent time for embracing new insights, expanding your understanding and implementing transformative changes that have broad impacts.
Venus Conjunct Jupiter at 29 degrees of Taurus. Venus and Jupiter are two of the most beneficial planetary energies. They are known for enhancing prosperity, joy, and expansion, and now it’s within Taurus's stable and material realm. This conjunction is favorable in terms of finance and relationships. In relationships, this conjunction brings generosity, joy, and contentment. It's an excellent time to form new bounds that could be beneficial in the long run or meaningfully deepen existing relationships. One caution with these two planets is that there's a risk of overdoing it—overspending, overeating, or indulging too much in physical pleasures. As much as Gemini likes to talk, Taurus likes to eat.
Venus enters Gemini on June 17. This period will bring a lively and curious energy to relationships, social interactions, and creative pursuits. Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and values, expresses itself quite differently in Gemini's airy, communicative sign than in other signs. Venus in Gemini stimulates creative expression through mediums that involve words and communication, like writing, speaking, or digital media. It's an excellent time for any creative work that requires a playful touch or innovative ideas. The focus is on intellectual and verbal connection, light-hearted encounters, and flexibility in romantic and financial pursuits.
May 25 – Jupiter Enters Gemini until June 9, 2025. Jupiter is about expansion and abundance. It brings enhanced communication. There’s a risk of spreading oneself too thin or becoming overwhelmed with too many interests or commitments. It’s an excellent time to learn, explore new ideas, and expand your social circle. This will be an excellent year for all Geminis or those with personal planets in Gemini. But don’t forget, Geminis don’t know what they think till they hear what they say. The brain lags behind the mouth. So when you communicate with a Gemini this year, give them time to get their wires uncrossed.
May 31 – Mercury Conjunct Uranus at 24 Taurus. This alignment creates a fascinating blend of mental energy and innovative thinking within Taurus's typically stable and practical sign. Mercury and Uranus can also produce high-strung nervous energy, leading to anxiety or restlessness, especially if you're required to think or move more quickly than you're comfortable with. Taurus is a fixed sign and may resist the sudden changes that Uranus likes to introduce. This could result in tension between a desire to stick to the tried-and-true versus the need to innovate and adapt. This conjunction can bring exciting intellectual stimulation and unexpected twists that challenge conventional thinking. It's an excellent time for innovative problem-solving and applying new technologies to enhance traditional processes. However, it also requires a balance to manage the disruptive energy and utilize it constructively without becoming overwhelmed by the pace of change.
