March 2020 Forecast

After the 9th^th of March, all of the planets will be moving direct for the rest of the month.  This means that the planets are working at their optimum expression.  Things can flow. Your ruler (the planet that rules the sign of your ascendant) can bring you recognition and relationships that are positive for you. Unless (and there is always an ‘unless’) there is a challenging planet transiting your ascendant.

Saturn moves into Aquarius on the 21^st after spending over two years in Capricorn.  Saturn rules Capricorn so he was happy there, working on business plans and building structures for practical applications.  In Aquarius, he wants to build a space station, a satellite, and new tools for the internet.  He wants to be innovative.  We could see some practical inventions come out during this period.

Saturn in Aquarius is good news for Capricorn.  We have had Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto ganging up on Capricorn for a while.  Saturn is the first one to break out of the pack.  This will bring some relief to the long-suffering caps out there.

Mar 3 – Venus Square Saturn at 28 Aries/Capricorn.  You may be tested about the maturity of your relationships.  Are your friends really the people that you can rely on?

Mar 4 – Mercury backs into Aquarius until March 16. Mercury was in Aquarius in the last half of January.  Something from that period could repeat now.

          Venus enters Taurus until Apr 3.  Venus rules Taurus so she is very happy here.  Venus and Taurus are both concerned with real estate so this may be a good time to buy or sell a home.  It is also a time to form grounded practical relationships.

Mar 8 – Sun Conjunct Neptune at 18 Pisces.  Your imagination is working overtime.  Do something creative.  Don’t lollygag on the couch and dream up some unrealistic ideas.

          Venus Conjunct Uranus at 3 Taurus.  This could lead to a separation from a loved one.  It only lasts a few days so not to worry. Unless you have personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus or Mars) or the ascendant at 1 to 5 degrees of Taurus or Scorpio, then yes maybe you should worry.  Venus wants to be in a relationship, but Uranus wants freedom.  It’s not an easy aspect to deal with unless you are an artist or musician then this aspect could bring some very unusual ways to update your creative expression.

Mar 9 – Mercury turns direct at 28 Aquarius.  If you have Gemini or Sagittarius rising, this was difficult Mercury retrograde for you.  Well, it’s over. Hallelujah!  Mercury is happy in Aquarius.  He can let his thoughts soar into outer space but only until March 16.

          Full Moon at 19 Pisces/Virgo. This full moon is conjunct to Neptune and in a sextile to Jupiter.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 17 to 21 Pisces or Virgo, this Full Moon may be very fortunate for you and may result in dreams coming true.

Mar 14 – Mars sextile Neptune at 18 Capricorn/Pisces.  Some very inspired opportunities come in especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 16 to 20 Capricorn or Pisces.

          Sun sextile Pluto at 24 Pisces/Capricorn. This also brings opportunities but these will be more about insights into your research and mending fences with others.

Mar 16 – Mercury enters Pisces until April 11.  Mercury is slogging through the water.  Our brains turn to mush.  Go to the movies. Write some poetry.  Dance.

Mar 19 – Sun enters Aries until April 19.  We get energized during the Aries period.  It is the start of the astrological New Year.

Mar 20 – Mars conjunct Jupiter at 22 Capricorn.  You become more optimistic and ready to take a risk on something.  Don’t go overboard if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 20 to 24 Capricorn or Cancer.

Mar 21 – Saturn enters Aquarius until March 8, 2023.  We may all become a little eccentric and not willing to conform to the status quo. We don’t want to just ‘fit in’ anymore.  We could start seeing more protests around the world.

Mar 22 – Another good day with two sextiles.

 Mercury sextile Uranus at 4 Pisces/Taurus.  Do your own thing.  Think your own thoughts.  Don’t conform to others.  You may become a rebel if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 2 to 6 Pisces or Taurus.

          Venus sextile Neptune at 18 Taurus/Pisces.  On this one take a trip to the beach.  Bring a few friends along.  Wishes come true for those of you who have personal planets or the ascendant at 16 to 20 Taurus or Pisces.

Mar 23 – Mars conjunct Pluto at 24 Capricorn.  This is the most difficult aspect of this month.  Mars wants to move ahead and Pluto wants to bury him in all kinds of dark energy.  Others can come in and grab what they want at your expense.  Watch out for psychopaths on the job if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 22 to 26 Capricorn.

Mar 24 – New Moon at 4 Aries.  This New Moon is square to Saturn. It’s a start/stop new moon.  In your plans for this month, figure in some days where you will work really hard and take on some responsibility. That will make Saturn happy.

Mar 28 –  Another good day!

Venus Trine Jupiter at 23 Taurus/Capricorn.  You could receive a gift or a payment on something you invested in a while back.  Lucky day if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 21 to 25 Taurus/Capricorn.

          Venus Trine Pluto at 24 Taurus/Capricorn.  You could cement a friendship or a love relationship.  Have a party and invite all of your friends if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 22 to 26 Taurus or Capricorn.

Mar 30 – Mars enters Aquarius until May 13.  Mars wants to be active.  Here he takes action around setting up a network, working with a group or working out in the gym with his friends.

Mar 31 – Mars conjuncts Saturn at 0 Aquarius. You could become a scapegoat today.  Someone is not taking on their responsibilities and will blame you when things fall apart.  You could get really down about his and not fight back if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 28 degrees of Capricorn to 2 degrees of Aquarius.

 

OUTER PLANET TRANSITS:

JUPITER is now in Capricorn until December 20, 2020.  This month Jupiter will move from 19 to 24 degrees of Capricorn.  Jupiter is about growth and expansion especially in travel and education and also in the area of your life ruled by the house in your natal chart that contains Capricorn.  Jupiter isn’t very happy in Capricorn because for the following year he has to get down to business; become responsible, and build a career. Don’t forget about his excessive qualities. In Capricorn, he could work too hard, and be too focused on the material and forget to smell the roses

SATURN is in Capricorn until Mar 21, 2020. This month he is moving from 28 Capricorn to 0 Aquarius.   If you have the ascendant or any personal planets at 26 Capricorn to 2 Aquarius, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. While Saturn is in Capricorn he is asking about your ambitions, your career, and your work ethic. In Capricorn, he is right at home and wants to build something. He stimulates you to make plans to be successful in the outer world.  In Aquarius, he wants to work with a network or with the community.  He will stay in Aquarius until March 2023.

URANUS is in Taurus until Apr 2026. This month he moves from 3 to 5 degrees of Taurus.  If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 1 to 7 degrees of Taurus or Scorpio, you will feel a need for freedom and for making some radical changes in your life. I believe in ‘cooperating with the inevitable’. If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, go on a long vacation, move or make some major changes in your life.

NEPTUNE (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) is in Pisces until 2026. This month Neptune moves from 18 to 19 degrees of Pisces. A lack of focus, a sense of drifting or an inability to see a betrayal or disappointment until it's too late can be experienced by those of you with the ascendant, Sun or Personal Planets at 16 to 21 degrees of Pisces or Virgo. For the enlightened out there, Neptune can also bring artistic, musical, creative expression, increased dreams and spiritual insights. Watch for some really inspired films to come out during the time Neptune is in Pisces. 

PLUTO is in Capricorn until 2023.  This month, Pluto will stay at 24   degrees of Capricorn. Profound changes will be felt especially by those with the ascendant or personal planets at 22 to 26 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer. What needs to die in order to be reborn?

Happy Birthday Pisces

Piscean types are gentle creatures who want to make the world a better place. They are idealistic and artistic, but also sometimes totally unrealistic.  They find it easier to dream of a spiritually advanced society than to do the hard work to bring it about.  Their energy isn’t all that robust and it is very easy for them to get sapped by other stronger personalities especially Scorpio, Aries or Leo.  They must be careful not to become victims because of their compassion and a strong need to save others. They are empaths so it is hard for Pisceans to watch violent movies or TV. 

This is an article on how a Pisces can protect themselves from vampires.

Their dreams are powerful and their dreams can lead them in the right direction. They have good visualization ability and are strongly intuitive. They have a good sense of color, balance, and rhythm and usually gravitate to the creative artistic fields such as painting, music, film or fashion design. 

Pisces is about letting go of boundaries and merging with the whole.  Pisces likes a little bit of chaos sometimes and likes to flow with energies of the universe.  They need to make room in their life to fall apart and dissolve once in a while.  Also, there is a strong need to escape to a spiritual retreat or self-imposed isolation on a regular basis. Myth: Orpheus          

Orpheus is a musician and poet who plays such beautiful music that trees weep and rocks melt. He marries Eurydice, who dies right after the wedding.  Orpheus cannot accept her death and pines for her. He goes into the underworld to get her back.  He plays music to Cerberus, the 3-headed dog guarding the underworld, and puts him to sleep. He then plays to Pluto and Persephone, who love his music so much they agree to let him take Eurydice back to life. He took her hand and started to lead her out of the underground.  They warned him not to look at her until they are out of the cave.  Just when he is about to see light, he begins to doubt it is really her. He looks back, and she vanishes.  Orpheus is not allowed back in the underworld, and he begins to grieve.

 Soldiers are partying, and resent him because he won’t join them. They throw javelins at him but his sad music stops the javelins.  The revelers drown out his music by yelling, and this time their javelins kill him.  He is decapitated and years later his head is found floating in the river and Orpheus is still singing. Some say he was killed by a thunderbolt from Zeus, angered by the mystic revelations Orpheus had made to new initiates.

 

Piscean Traits:  Pisceans can dissolve boundaries, making them excellent peacemakers. They have trouble maintaining boundaries in their lives, even with their own unconscious. There is a part of Pisces that does not want to be defined.  As soon as they have something that gives them structure, they do something to attract chaos. They run into trouble when they analyze a situation too rationally and lose touch with their intuition and feelings. Pisceans cannot find fulfillment outside, only inside themselves.  Looking to others or to a job for fulfillment will not satisfy them.  Their happiness and peace is inside them.  Pisceans are very sensitive and come into harm when they associate with rough, aggressive types. Their creative gifts live long after they are gone.  They share mystical truths with others.
