Big News for Sagittarius this month--whether you have the Sun in Sagittarius or Sag rising. Jupiter, the benefic, jovial, big fat happy guy is in your sign for a whole year. Send congratulations to your Sagittarius friends on Facebook. The big day is November 8th. Jupiter likes everything to be over the top. He likes to expand every sign he goes into. The first day he went into Scorpio, we had the Harvey Weinstein scandal which gave rise to the me-too movement. Scorpio rules sexuality and powerful women.
Now Jupiter is entering Sagittarius, the sign it rules. Jupiter visits Sagittarius once every 12 years. He will expand everything that the sign of Sagittarius is about-- immigration, law, foreigners, higher education, long-distance travel, marketing, and publications. This is a time to start a blog post, market on Facebook, and get the word out about your creative ideas and products.
Also this month Mercury turns retrograde on Nov 16 until Dec 6. I’ve noticed that things do not go haywire on Mercury retrograde periods, but things can get a little wonky on the day it turns retrograde and the day it turns direct. So try not to start on a trip on those two days (Nov 16 and Dec 6, give or take a few days)
Venus who has been moving retrograde since Oct 5 will turn direct on Nov 16. Relationship problems may start to resolve.
Dates to Watch:
Nov 6 – Uranus Enters Aries. He is backing up in Aries and will turn direct in Aries on January 6 at 28 degrees. He will go back into Taurus on March 9. An alert to Aries Sun and Rising – If you felt you would not receive any shocking news or changes in your life because Uranus had moved into Taurus; think again. But it won’t impact all Aries, only those born between April 27 through April 22. Or if you have the ascendant at 28 or 29 degrees of Aries.
Nov 7 – New Moon at 15 Scorpio. This New Moon is in a trine to Neptune at 13 Pisces. This New Moon can enhance our imagination, and make us sensitive to other dimensions of reality.
Nov 8 – Jupiter in Sagittarius. Look to your birth chart to see in what house Sagittarius resides. This is where Jupiter will be traveling to bring you optimism, growth, breakthroughs and good luck in the areas ruled by that house. (see the meaning of the houses here).
Nov 9 – Venus Trine Mars. Look into ways you can use your energy to find financial or emotional security. Why not both? Find a rich partner.
Nov 15 – Mars enters Pisces until January 2, 2019. Mars wants to fight, but here he is in the sign of confusion, peace, and imagination. We could all end up like Don Quixote-- Imagining enemies that don’t exist and end up tilting at windmills. The best way to use this energy is to write poetry or music
Nov 16 – Venus turns direct. Venus has been retrograde since Oct 5. During that time we may have had problems with relationships or money. Now we can move ahead as far as making investments and purchasing some luxury items.
Mercury turns retrograde at 13 Sagittarius and stays retrograde until Dec 6. Don’t buy a car or electronic equipment during this time. I need a new computer and plan on buying it during this retrograde. You didn’t think I followed my own advice, did you? I’ll let you know how that works out.
Nov 19 – Mars Squares Jupiter at 2 degrees of Aquarius/Scorpio. You may want to get away from it all. Tell everyone around you to go pound salt and fly off like a wild bird. But first, stop and think about it. Mars is so darn impulsive.
Nov 22 – Sun enters Sagittarius until Dec 21. Dark, intense Scorpio time is over. Sagittarius likes to play. It’s a breath of fresh air before the Capricorn time of getting back to business.
Nov 23 – Full Moon at 0 Gemini is opposite Jupiter. Give a few days before and after this new moon to make any financial decisions. Don’t lend anyone any money and don’t overeat. (I love telling people what not to do).
Nov 24 - Neptune turns direct at 13 Pisces. For the 3 days before and 3 days after this date, you could get really confused, lose things, forget things and be totally spaced out, especially if you have personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) or the ascendant at 11 to 15 of Pisces or Virgo. Recheck emails before you send them out. Be careful of all communication.
Nov 26 – Sun Conjunct Jupiter at 3 degrees of Sagittarius. This is a great aspect. If you have the ascendant or a personal planet at 3 degrees of Sagittarius or Gemini, go ahead, play the lottery.
Mercury Square Mars at 6 Sagittarius/Pisces. Everyone is saying exactly what is on their mind. This could lead to some nasty quarrels. But you have been forewarned so keep your tongue and typing fingers under control
Nov 27 – A triple conjunction of Sun Conjunct Mercury conjunct Jupiter at 5 degrees of Sagittarius. You can get some really inspiring ideas if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 3 to 7 degrees of Sagittarius or Gemini. You can make some good connections today and also make plans for travel. You can achieve success in the areas of writing and speaking. Good news comes in. You could gain recognition from wealthy people.
Nov 30 – Venus Opposite Uranus at 29 Libra/Aries. Sometimes we need to take a little vacation from that possessive other we have been involved with. This is a good time.
OUTER PLANET TRANSITS:
JUPITER is now in Scorpio. This month Jupiter moves from 28 to 29 degrees of Scorpio until the 8th when he enters Sagittarius. Jupiter is about growth and expansion especially in travel and education and also in the area of your life ruled by the house in your natal chart that holds late Scorpio and early Sagittarius. Jupiter is happy is Sagittarius, it is his home but don’t forget about his excessive qualities. In Sagittarius, you could take on too much, too many projects, to many engagements, too many appointments, too much socializes. Watch it.
SATURN is in Capricorn until 2020. This month he will move from 4 to 7 degrees of Capricorn. If you have the ascendant or any personal planets at 4 to 7 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. While Saturn is in Capricorn he is asking about your ambitions, your career, and your work ethic. In Capricorn he is right at home and wants to build something, make plans and be successful in the outer world.
URANUS is in Taurus until Apr 2026. He is now at 0 degrees of Taurus. He will retrograde back into Aries on Nov 6. While in Aries he will cover 28 to 29 degrees. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 0 degrees of Taurus or Scorpio or 28 or 29 degrees of Aries or Libra, you will feel a need for freedom and for making some radical changes in your life. I believe in “cooperating with the inevitable”. If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, go on a long vacation, move or make some major changes in your life.
NEPTUNE (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) is in Pisces until 2026. He is retrograde until Nov 24 when he turns direct. This month he stays at 13 degrees of Pisces. A lack of focus, a sense of drifting or an inability to see a betrayal or disappointment until it's too late can be experienced by those of you with the Sun or Personal Planets at 11 to 15 degrees of Pisces or Virgo. For the enlightened out there, Neptune can also bring artistic, musical, creative expression, increased dreams and spiritual insights.
