The most important aspects this month are:
Mars retrograde all month until June 29 means that you could leave a project undone or seriously revise it. Schedules can be shifted and changed. Your aim in life is questioned.
Jupiter Square Saturn is also square Neptune at the same time forming a T-Square. Three of the gods are not cooperating with each other. The gods are --Jupiter the god of expansion, greed and optimism; Saturn the god of restriction and boundaries and Neptune who is out there in the ethers having mystical experiences. Neptune doesn’t like the conflict that is going on so he throws a veil over Jupiter and Saturn so that they don’t understand the conflict they are in or how to resolve it. This aspect can lead to pessimism, a feeling of abandonment, hard work with no success and disappointments or losses.
This T-Square comes in the beginning of the month and lasts through mid June/ That is when Jupiter decides not to be in this stranglehold anymore. He runs away from the conflict looking for a good time. This is something that Jupiter is really good at.

May 3 – Sun Trine Jupiter. Financial and educational opportunities abound. This aspect gives you the confidence to move ahead and take on a big project or make a step toward future abundance.
May 6 – New Moon 16 Taurus at 3:29 PM, If Mercury were not moving retrograde, I will tell all of you that this is a great time to sell or buy real estate. But you may be thinking of real estate which is a good thing for Mercury retrograde, but wait until Mercury is moving direct on May 23 before you sign a contract. Or you can sign it if you are hoping it will be re-negotiated. This New Moon is trine to Pluto in Capricorn. If you have personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus Mars) or the ascendant at 16 to 18 degrees of Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn, this new moon period will be very good for you for material success. Look to the natal house in your chart that contains 16 to 18 degrees of Taurus. Meaning of the Houses This is the area of life that could prosper.
May 9 – Sun conjunct Mercury at 19 Taurus. Mercury transits right across the face of the Sun. The entire transit will be visible in the western part of Europe and Africa as well as in the east of North America and in South America. It will last 7 ½ hours. There are only 13 transits of Mercury each century. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 17 to 21 Taurus, be ready for some profound insights and exchange of information.
Jupiter is stationing and turning direct at 13 Virgo. This is an opportunity for moving ahead in anything that has to do with education, foreign travels, and investments. We feel optimistic and generous. Jupiter can improve the state of things in your life. This is especially potent if you have and personal planets or the ascendant at 11 to 15 of Virgo. Bernie Sanders has his Sun at 15 degrees of Virgo. He may expand his influence in some way.
May 10 – Venus Trine Jupiter. You may get a favor returned for something you did for something in the past.
May 12 – Mercury Trine Pluto at 17 Taurus/Capricorn. You may get help from someone to fulfill an opportunity that you have waited on a long time. Today and tomorrow can benefit you financially. Especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 15 to19 Taurus or Capricorn.
May 13 – Mercury conjunct Venus. You are more artistic in your writing and your speech. You may receive a message from a friend or a loved one.
Venus Trine Pluto. Trines are positive and show assistance coming your way. On this one you could receive help from someone you admire.
May 20 – Sun enters Gemini until June 20. This is the time of the year to put your ideas into practice. A good time to deal with schools and universities.
May 21 – Full Moon at 1 Sagittarius at 5:14 PM. This is a culmination of the energy that started on the New Moon on May 6. Sagittarius wants to travel and explore the world.
May 22 – Sun Opposite Mars at 1 degree of Gemini/Sagittarius. These two signs are flighty and it’s hard to pin them down. We may feel anger on this one, but not sure who with are angry at or what we are angry about. This could be difficult if you have a personal planet or the ascendant at 1 degree of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces.
Mercury stations and turns direct at 14 Taurus. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 14 degrees of Taurus, you could have some powerful ideas come into your mind. For all of us, we feel that we can now act on the ideas that have been simmering in our mind since April 28.
May 24 – Venus enters Gemini until June 17. Venus is the planet of love and attraction, but in Gemini it is “oh hum,” not really interested, I have this great book to finish first. We are less passionate during this period, but that may be a good thing.
Venus opposite Mars at 1 Gemini/Sagittarius. Venus is love and Mars is sex, but in these two signs, Gemini and Sagittarius probably have better things to do. They just can’t stay still long enough.
May 26 – Jupiter Square Saturn at 13 Virgo/Sagittarius. This is a major aspect. It is the last of a series that started late 2015 and early 2016. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 11 to 15 Virgo of Sagittarius, this aspect can bring disharmony and quarrels over finances and shared responsibilities. This square is also squaring Neptune at 11 Pisces. This brings in a lot of uncertainty. We can’t seem to see our way through the problems that have come into our life. Look for the two houses that contain 13 Virgo and 13 Sagittarius. This is the areas that will be in conflict. This aspect could create problems in global finances.
May 27 Mars backs into Scorpio and stays in Scorpio a long time, until August 2nd. He turns direct in Scorpio on June 29. Mars may be going backwards but he is still intense in Scorpio. Both Mars and Pluto are power houses. If you have personal planets or the ascendant in Scorpio, you may not want to show your aggressive side and become manipulative, sneaky and try to undermine others.
May 30 – Mercury Trine Pluto. We had the same aspect on May 12. On May 12, the messenger was moving backward, now he is direct. This is good for research and investigations.
OUTER PLANET TRANSITS:
JUPITER is now retrograde in Virgo until May 9. This month he stay at 13 degrees of Virgo. Jupiter is about growth and expansion especially in travel and education and also in the area of your life ruled by the house in your natal chart that holds 13 degrees Virgo.
SATURN is in Sagittarius until Dec 2017. This month he is retrograde and will travel from 15 to 13 degrees of Sagittarius. If you have the ascendant or any personal planets at 5 to 13 degrees of Sagittarius or Gemini, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. While Saturn is in Sagittarius, he is asking about your belief system, your hopes for the future and your travel plans
URANUS is in Aries until 2018. This month Uranus moves from 21 to 23 degrees of Aries. We feel a need for freedom and we want to make some radical changes in our life. I believe in “cooperating with the inevitable”. If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, go on a long vacation, move, or make some major changes in your life.
NEPTUNE (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) is in Pisces until 2026. He will move from 11 to 12 degrees of Pisces all month.
