Very good news this month; the seventh and last of the brutal squares between Uranus and Pluto happens on the 16th and then we are free of challenging aspects between Uranus and Pluto until they oppose each other in 2046 to 2048. Uranus can be understood as Prometheus, the Liberator and Pluto as Hades, Lord of the Underworld.
This square has been closing and opening since 2010 at 6 to 17 degrees of Aries and Capricorn. Therefore, it has been especially difficult for those of you with personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars) and especially if you have the ascendant at 6 to 17 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn.
Uranus is the planet of freedom and individual rights and Pluto the planet of covert operations, secrets, and control on a large scale. Pluto has been blocking Uranus’ free expression. I am hoping once Uranus separates from Pluto, Prometheus will be able to do his work of liberation. I think we will start to see the energies of truth overcome the policy of secrets.
Venus and Mars will get entangled with the Uranus/Pluto square this month, which could lead to all sorts of complications around relationships and sexuality. This will especially affect those of you with 14 degrees of personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars) or the ascendant in Aries, Capricorn, Cancer or Libra will be affected.
Dates to Watch:
Mar 1 – Mercury Opposite Jupiter at 14 Aquarius/Leo. Be careful about being too domineering. I know you think you are the most important person in the world and everyone should listen to your great ideas, but try to practice some modesty. It is only for one day, you can do it.
Mar 3 – Jupiter Trine Uranus at 14 Leo/Aries. This is the best aspect of the month. We have two “get outta town” planets in creative fire signs. This is a good day to travel, or create something new. It is a very promising day for those of you with the personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus or Mars) or the ascendant in 14 Leo or Aries.
Mar 4 – Venus Trine Jupiter at 14 degrees of Aries/Leo. Another good aspect. You may receive a gift, or an award. A very positive day.
Venus Conjunct Uranus at 14 Aries. You are way out of line today as far as relationships go. You may decide to tell all about your sordid past. Don’t do it!
Venus Square Pluto at 14 degrees of Aries and Capricorn. Because you didn’t listen to me about yesterday, you could be totally embarrassed today.
Mar 5 – Full Moon at 1:30 PM at 14 Virgo. This Full Moon has positive aspects to Pluto. A day for romance and pleasure. An enjoyable happy day. Something you have been working on is reaching a beneficial culmination.
Mar 10 – Mars Trine Jupiter. A good time to overcome the inertia and get moving. You can accomplish a lot today.
Mar 11 – Mars Conjunct Uranus at 14 degrees of Aries. You are fed up today. You want to get rid of all of the people and circumstances that are holding you back. Keep your irritability under control. Save that energy for all of the changes that are coming up.
Mars Square Pluto at 14 degrees of Aries/Capricorn. Don’t try to force anything and don’t start anything of importance. Just stay in harmony with the Tao. And let things develop as they will-- this applies to love and money.
Mar 12 – Mercury enters Pisces until March 30. We will tend to go and take in a rescue dog or cat or maybe a rescue person. Our compassion is working overtime.
Mar 14 – Saturn turns retrograde at 5 degrees of Sagittarius until Aug 2. I am sorry Scorpios, but Saturn is turning around to hit you one more time. Saturn will enter Scorpio on Jun 16 until Sep 19. For all of us, Saturn moving retrograde means it is not a good time to establish a new business
Mar 16 – Mercury square Saturn at 4 degrees Pisces/Sagittarius. You may find yourself in a battle of wills with someone. Try compromise or just wait until this day is over.
Uranus Square Pluto at 15 degrees of Aries/Capricorn. YEAHH!! This Is the last Uranus Pluto Square. It will take a while for these two to separate-- they have been in a strangle hold for a long time. But soon, maybe as early as next month, we will see an easing of the tension in our personal lives and around the world.
Mar 17 – Venus in Taurus until April 11. Venus rules Taurus so during this time love will take second place to money. We want security. We want to have a massage and count our money, listen to good music and count our money, lie in the hammock and count our money.
Mar 18 – Mercury conjunct Neptune at 8 degrees of Pisces. This is a space cadet aspect. Our thinking is fuzzy. We want to visit other dimensions. Its ok, just be sure to come back home.
Mar 20 – New Moon- Solar Eclipse at 5:36 AM at 29 Pisces. This eclipse is trine Saturn. The area covered by the house in your natal chart that contains 28 Pisces to 2 Aries will be very active in the coming month. You can check the meaning of the houses here. If one of your personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus or Mars) or the ascendant is at 29 degrees of Pisces to 2 Aries this eclipse will be important and make an impact in your life. Mar 25 – Sun Trine Saturn. I like this day. A good responsible, self-disciplined day. A good day for dealing with elders, Hey that’s me! And for new projects that you want to last into the future.
Mar 27 – Venus Trine Jupiter. You could win the lottery, receive a gift or just sit at home and count your blessings.
Mar 30 – Mercury enters Aries until April 14. Mercury in Aries is the “fastest gun in the West” we will all talk to fast, too impulsively and if someone wants to interrupt we will just run over them. This should be interesting since we will all feel this transit.
Venus Trine Pluto. Another good day for fortunate investments, for having a party and for deepening your friendships.
Mars enters Taurus until May 1. Think of Mars as a high powered bulldozer all gassed up and ready to go. I think of Taurus as Ferdinand the Bull, asleep under the big oak tree. Get the picture? You are charged up and ready to go, but Taurus is the slowest sign and doesn’t like to get all excited and just wants to nap. We may end up just spinning around in circles.
OUTER PLANET TRANSITS:
JUPITER is in Leo until August 2015. This month Jupiter is retrograde will move from 14 Leo to 12 Leo. Jupiter is about growth and expansion. Look to the house in your natal chart that holds 12 to 14 degrees of Leo. During Jupiter Retrograde we are more interested in inner growth than we are in outward expansion.
SATURN is in Sagittarius until Dec 2018. (He will move back into Scorpio on June 16, 2015 until Sep 19, 2015.) This month Saturn will stay at 4 degrees of Sagittarius turning retrograde on Mar 14. If you have the ascendant or any personal planets at 4 degrees of Sagittarius or Gemini in your natal chart, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. While Saturn is in Sagittarius, Saturn is asking about your plans for the future, your religious beliefs and what meaning have you found for your life.
URANUS is in Aries until 2018. This month Uranus will move from 14 t0 16 degrees of Aries all month. We all feel a need to rebel; we want more freedom and want to make some radical changes in our life. I believe in “cooperating with the inevitable”. If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, go on a long vacation, move, or make some major changes in your life.
NEPTUNE (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) is in Pisces until 2026. He will move from 7 to 8 degrees of Pisces this month. A lack of focus, a sense of drifting or an inability to see a betrayal or disappointment until it's too late can be experienced by those of you with the Sun or Personal Planets at 7 to 8 degrees of Pisces or Virgo. PLUTO is in Capricorn until 2023. This month Pluto is moving direct and . 14 to 15 degrees of Capricorn. Everyone is feeling the urge to purge and to find his or her truth.
