Saturn is the planet of fear and it has been in Scorpio since Oct 2012. Scorpio is the sign of disease, death, plagues, blood and bodily fluids. The last time Saturn was in Scorpio was in the 80's – the beginning of the AIDS epidemic. This time around the fear is about Ebola. Remember those days when everyone was paranoid about being near someone with AIDS?? It is fascinating to watch the 29.5 year Saturn cycle and to see issues repeat. Even though there are other diseases that are more contagious and that kill way more people than Ebola, the media feeds on irrational fear and builds it way out of proportion.
The good news for Scorpios is that Saturn will move into Sagittarius at the end of December and we will have different kinds of fears at that time. Since Sagittarius rules foreigners among others things it will probably be about immigration. But, Saturn moving into Sagittarius will give some relief to the Scorpios out there. I hope you learned about yourself during the last 2 ½ years because Saturn will retreat back into Scorpio in June 16, 2015 until Sep 19, 2015 so you have a few more months next year to learn some lessons.
The Uranus/ Pluto square is starting to tighten again. It will be exact on Dec 15. The last square will take place on March 16, 2015. Now they are only 2 degrees away from being exact We can see the liberating spirit of Uranus in Aries and the control response of Pluto in Capricorn in such news as the people in Hong Kong protesting for freedom and the repressive Chinese regime clamping down on them. This sort of thing has been happening since the square first manifested in the skies in 2010.
I don't know who will win this battle of freedom versus control, Uranus or Pluto. I believe the future is not determined; there are probable futures where some events are more likely than others, but there are many factors that determine what will actually manifest. That is why it is so darn difficult to make predictions in astrology, economics or any other discipline that tries to predict the future. Jungian astrologers say events only happen archetypally or psychologically. Traditional astrologers says that events happen literally based on the meaning of the transit. In my experience I have seen both. For instance transiting Pluto conjunct the Sun in traditional astrology means the death of the father. I have seen this happen literally in client's lives, but I also have seen the death of the archetypal father--letting go of shoulds and finding the protective father in oneself.

Nov 6 – Full Moon at 14 Taurus at 5:23 PM. This full moon in Taurus/Scorpio asks the question: “What do I hold on to and what do I let go of?
Nov 8 – Mercury moves into Scorpio until Nov 27. Mercury is our mind and Scorpio wants to dig deep and find out the facts behind the superficial world we live in. A good time to do research of any kind.
Nov 9 – Venus Square Jupiter. Don't be too hasty making personal decisions. Wait awhile.
Nov 10 – Mars Conjunct Pluto at 11 degrees of Capricorn. This is a powerful aspect. The God of War is detonating the planet of destruction. If you have personal planets (Sun,, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) or the ascendant at 19 to 12 Capricorn or Cancer, try to use this energy in a constructive way. Build something or hike or do something strenuous.
Nov 11 – Mercury Trine Neptune. This is great for working on artistic creations such as writing a fantasy novel.
Nov 12 – Venus Conjunct Saturn at 25 degrees of Scorpio. You are morose and sad about your relationships today. The way out is to go for an older man.
Mars square Uranus at 13 Capricorn/Aries. Those of you with personal planets or the ascendant at 13 Capricorn/Aries are being bombarded with Mars, Uranus and Pluto. This aspect can bring riotous conditions. Stay away from large crowds.
Nov 13 – Sun Square Jupiter at 21 degrees of Scorpio/Leo. You think you can do anything on this one. Well, practice some self control. You could take on more than you can handle.
Nov 16 – Neptune turns direct at 4 Pisces. Neptune has been retrograde since June 2014. At that time Neptune, the planet of illusion and confusion was backing away and that allowed us to get real about many things in our life. Now Neptune is back moving direct. So we can start living in denial again and do the self deception trip. But don't forget Neptune also rules spirituality and fine arts so this is a great time to get the creative juices flowing and to go on a Buddhist retreat.
Venus enters Sagittarius until Dec 10. Venus is playful here. A big flirt. She won't settle down so you might as well have fun.
Nov 18 – Sun Conjunct Saturn at 25 Scorpio. If you have personal planets or the ascendant at 25 degrees of Scorpio you need to focus and find out how to handle responsibilities. We can all be tested today by Saturn. How have we lived up to our potential. Isn't it time to ditch the pot and grow up?
Nov 20 – Venus Square Neptune at 4 degrees of Sagittarius/Pisces. Watch out for deception. Something may seen too good to be true. It probably is.
Nov 22 – New Moon at 0 Sagittarius at 7:32 AM. New energy comes into our life. It is about travel, studies, and publications.
Sun enters Sagittarius until Dec 21. With the New Moon at the same time as the Sun enters Sagittarius, we have a double dose of Sadge this month. We will feel the urge to become gypsies, sell our home, travel and go on an adventure.
Mercury Square Jupiter at 22 Scorpio/Leo. Be careful with spending. Travel is not a good idea today. There could be a lot of transportation headaches.
Nov 25 – Mercury Conjunct Saturn at 26 Scorpio. You need to pay attention to the details today. Work hard or sit there and be depressed. Your choice.
Nov 26 – Venus trine Uranus at 12 Sagittarius/Aries. A beautiful aspect for friendships and having some unusual fun with some weird friends.
Sun square Neptune at 4 Sagittarius/Pisces. You may meet a person today who is a true visionary or maybe just a nutter. Be careful not to take advice from this person.
Nov 27 – Mercury enters Sagittarius until December 16. Our thinking expands, we want to know more about the world. We want to read every book that Amazon has in stock.
Nov 30 – Mercury Square Neptune at 4 Sagittarius/Pisces. We are not thinking too clear today. Best to sit and daydream or write some science fiction stories.
OUTER PLANET TRANSITS:
JUPITER is in Leo until August 2015.. This month Jupiter will move from 20 Leo to 22 Leo. Jupiter is about growth and expansion. Look to the house in your natal chart that holds 20 to 22 degrees of Leo. This is the area of life that will expand this month: more projects, more people, more fun.
SATURN is in Scorpio until Dec 24, 2014. This month Saturn moves from 23 to 27 degrees of Scorpio. If you have the ascendant or any personal planets at 23 to 27 degrees of Scorpio or Taurus in your natal chart, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. Scorpio rules passion, sex and depths of all kinds and Saturn may ask you to take on more responsibility for how you control your rage and psychological expression.
URANUS is in Aries until 2018. This month Uranus is retrograde and is moving from 13 to 12 degrees of Aries. We all feel a need to rebel; we want more freedom and want to make some radical changes in our life. I believe in “cooperating with the inevitable”. If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, go on a long vacation, move, or make some major changes in your life.
NEPTUNE (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) is in Pisces until 2026. He is retrograde at the the beginning of the month and will turn retrograde on Nov 16. He will stay at 4 degrees of Pisces all month. A lack of focus, a sense of drifting or an inability to see a betrayal or disappointment until it's too late can be experienced by those of you with the Sun or Personal Planets at 4 degrees of Pisces or Virgo. For the enlightened out there, Neptune can also bring artistic, musical, creative expression, increased dreams and spiritual insights. PLUTO is in Capricorn until 2023. This month Pluto is moving direct and will move from at 11 to 12 degrees of Capricorn. Everyone is feeling the urge to purge and to find his or her truth. Profound changes will be felt especially by those with Sun, ascendant or personal planets at 11 0r 12 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer.
