Last month I wrote about the dangerous aspect of warlike Mars moving into a square with Uranus and Pluto. This square made a t-square (3 sided square) out of the difficult Uranus square Pluto This aspect was exact on July 17 and July 18 with an orb of 4 days on either side. Taking my information from Eberstein, a traditional astrology, I wrote that, “the three planets together can mean violent interventions, sudden disasters, fanaticism or a mania for destruction.”
On July 19, three hundred and two people were killed in the bloodiest day of the Syrian civil war. An assassination of the Syrian defense minister took place. In Bulgaria a suicide bomber blew up a bus containing seven Israeli tourists.
On July 20, the shooting in the movie theater in Aurora, Colorado occurred. I lived in Aurora for a short time and the many pickup trucks with gun racks made a deep impression on this sensitive soul from Boston. I could feel the violence in the air. In Michael Moore's movie, Bowling for Columbine, he interviewed someone in Littleton (another suburb of Colorado) who was leaning against a missile outside of the Martin Marietta planet. He said, "the fact that that this plant is here displaying missiles outside has nothing to do with the violence at Columbine. Moore stated that "the United States is responsible for over 80% of all the gun deaths in the 23 richest countries combined". Moore on Gun Violence
Now some potentially good news. A group of spiritual leaders are preparing to create a shift of consciousness on a global scale. Their goal is to have100 million people world wide celebrating Dec 22, 2012 as the birth of a new humanity. Birth 2012 The destructive planetary aspects we have been suffering from this year should have a rebirth, maybe this will be the beginning. What do you think? Or is this just spitting into the wind?

Aug 1 – Full Moon at 11:27 PM EST at 10 Aquarius. This is an expansive Full Moon. Jupiter sextiles the Sun and Mars Trines the Moon. New experiences could open up our world to include new optimistic goals.
Aug 7 – Venus enters Cancer until Sep 6. What do we love (Venus) when she moves into Cancer? We love our home, our family, feeling secure and safe. We may become more nurturing and sensitive toward others.
Aug 8 - Mercury turns direct at 1:40 AM EDT. This should help information to get moving again. Documents and other data that you fear was lost may turn up. You may rethink a decision that you made during the retrograde period,
Aug 9 – Venus Trine Neptune. A good day to rearrange your furniture, decorate your home or just sit on the couch and imagine all the great trips you could take.
Aug 15 – Venus opposite Pluto Square Uranus. Now we have Venus move into to make a T-Square with Pluto and Uranus. This can be power struggles in relationships, break-ups, manipulation and all the nasties, Venus, Goddess of Love can get up to. Those of you with personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) or the ascendant at 7 or 8 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn are in the hot seat for this one.
Mars conjunct Saturn. Don’t travel, Don’t make plans. Don’t take on too much responsibility. You can tell this is not a fun day especially for those with the personal planets or the ascendant at 24 Libra or Aries.
Aug 17 – New Moon at 11:54 AM EDT at 26 Cancer. This is the start of a new month and Mercury is moving direct. So a good day to initiate actions especially in the realm of home and family.
August 18 – Mercury Trine Uranus. A good day for new ideas, travel, writing and mental work.
Aug 22 – Sun enters Virgo until Sep 22. Now is the time to do meticulous work, start new studies.
Aug 23 – Mars enters Scorpio until Oct 6. Mars is very sexy and Scorpio is deeply passionate. In fact Mars is the old ruler of Scorpio. So expect an increase in intensity in your relationships.
Aug 24 – Sun Opposite Neptune. Avoid practical or financial decisions. Record your dreams. A day for inspiration.
Aug 26 – Mars Trine Neptune. You have strong intuition about where you want to go and what your goals are for the future. Follow this.
Aug 29 – Sun Trine Pluto. A good aspect for dealing with finances and business collaborations.
Aug 31 – Full Moon at 9:58 AM EDT at 8 Pisces. We feel very sensitive and compassionate on this Full Moon. Something will be fulfilled that was promised on the New Moon on Aug 17.
OUTER PLANET TRANSITS
JUPITER is in Gemini until Aug 27, 2013. This month Jupiter will move from 10 Gemini to 14 Gemini. Now is the time to move ahead with your optimistic plans for the future, especially if you have the ascendant, Sun or Moon between 10 and 14 degrees of Gemini or Sagittarius. Also, look to see what house in your natal chart holds 10 to 14 degrees of Gemini. The affairs of this house will be abundant or excessive.
SATURN is in Libra (structure, foundation, and responsibility) until Oct 2012. This month Saturn moves from 25 to 26 degrees of Libra. If you have the Ascendant or any personal planets at 25 t0 26 degrees of Libra in your natal chart, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. Libra rules relationships of all kinds and Saturn may ask you to take on more responsibility for how your relationships work.
URANUS is in Aries until 2018. This month Uranus is retrograde and moves from 8 to 7 degrees. We all feel a need to rebel; we want more freedom and want to make some radical changes in our life. I believe in “cooperating with the inevitable”. If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, go on a long vacation, move, or make some major changes in your life.
NEPTUNE (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) is in Pisces until 2026. This month Neptune is retrograde and moves from 2 to 1 degrees of Pisces. A lack of focus, a sense of drifting or an inability to see a betrayal or disappointment until it's too late can be experienced by those of you with the Sun or Personal Planets at 1 or 2 degrees of Pisces. For the enlightened out there, Neptune can also bring artistic, musical, creative expression, increased dreams and spiritual insights.
PLUTO is in Capricorn until 2023. This month Pluto is moving retrograde and is stays at 7 degrees of Capricorn. Everyone is feeling the urge to purge and to find his or her truth. Profound changes will be felt especially by those with Sun, Ascendant or personal planets at 7 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer.
