As I said in last month’s forecast, “Mars is coming in to kick us around a little. The combination of Pluto, Uranus, and Saturn being set off by Mars can bring violence or sudden disaster.” I just love being right! (Of course, I never mention it when I am wrong). Mars entered Cancer on August third which meant that he opposed Pluto, squared Uranus and squared Saturn. When we have three outer planets in a difficult aspect, events don’t usually happen when that aspect is exact. It takes another smaller planet to trigger it. And Mars happens to be the strongest trigger.
So if you are wondering why we had an earthquake, a revolution in Libya, riots in the U.K., crazy stock fluctuations and a hurricane at the same time, blame it on Mars. It should all calm down a bit in September. But we will continue to have economic stress through the early part of 2015. The stress (Uranus in Aries) will be between those who know the old economy is over and want to get out there and “throw da bums out” and start new green companies versus the (Pluto in Capricorn) snakes in suits in the corporate structures and government institutions that want to hold on. I have a lot more to say about the economy, but will do that in a later post.
Pluto in Capricorn turns direct on the 16th. Some information that was hidden in banking, government and big business will be revealed.
I am being asked about Rick Perry. I really don’t like to do charts of candidates this early because sometimes they have a short shelf life. They can disappear as fast as they appear, plus I don’t like to do any work that I don’t have to do But since you are insisting I will just do this one.
We do have his birth time. Rick Perry has his Sun in Pisces, Moon in Virgo and Taurus Rising. Now we don’t get many presidents that are Pisces because they can be out there “where the buses don’t run.” Pisces are dreamers and artists. But he has a Virgo Moon and Taurus rising which really grounds him. He is a double Saturn with Saturn conjunct the Moon and opposite the Sun. Jupiter is on Mercury and Uranus is square Mars.
This is not a bad chart, someone who definitely wants to stay with the status quo (Saturn) and maybe take a few steps backwards. Mercury conjunct Jupiter stands for careless speech. He can be a good speaker, but can say the wrong thing at the wrong time. The Uranus Square Mars is someone who is very impulsive, high strung and likes to take chances. Look at this as an uncontrolled Mars. He would want to strike out when he is challenged. He will have to reign in this energy during the campaign. Sep 2 – Sun Trine Jupiter. What a lovely aspect to start the month. This is a very fortunate, lucky aspect especially for those of you with 10 degrees of Virgo, Taurus or Capricorn.
Sep 8 – Mercury Opposite Neptune. Your mind goes on the fritz today. You are trying to communicate, “uh what’s the name of that movie we saw the other day, uh, with what’s his name in the starring role, you know, uh, the one married to what’s her name?” Just give it up.
Sep 9 – Mercury moves into Virgo until Sept 25. Mercury is finally moving direct and in Virgo he is really enjoying himself, being critical, analyzing stuff, adding up figures and being his ole smart-alecky self.
Sep 12 - Mercury trine Pluto. A good aspect for making financial plans and also for research. Especially good for strategizing if you have Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn at 4-5 degrees.
Full Moon at 19 Pisces. A time to kick back, meditate, do some yoga and dream, dream, dream. This is a time to get in touch with your ideals.
Sep 14 – Mercury Trine Jupiter – A day for expansive, global ideas. Especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 10 degrees of Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn.
Venus enters Libra until Oct 9. You have the urge during this time to make friends, find a soul mate, put on makeup, dress sexy and go on the prowl.
Sep 16 – Pluto turns direct at 5 degrees of Capricorn. Planets are very powerful when they stop in the sky to change direction. If you have any personal planets or the ascendant at 5 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer, be ready to do some deep thinking and make some major decisions. Look at your chart to see what house includes 5 degrees of Capricorn, which is the area of your life that will come up for review.
Sep 17 – Venus opposite Uranus at 4 degrees of Libra and Aries. – Don’t get married today! Your mind will be on all the ones that got away and you may be feeling like running away from any commitment.
Sep 18 – Venus Square Pluto. This also is not a great day for relationships unless you like the control, manipulation style of love. You will if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 5 degrees of Libra or Capricorn.
Mars enters Leo until Nov 10. Mars loves it here. He rules a fire sign (Aries) and now he is in another fire sign. During this period, all of you fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) out there will be stimulated to run around frenetically more than you usually do.
Sep 23 – Sun enters Libra until Oct 23 – This is the best month in my opinion (now that I no longer have to go to school, that is.) The energy now is for enjoyment, a good month for a vacation.
Mars trine Uranus at 3 Leo and Aries. This is a great aspect for getting things done in an original and unique way. Also a good day to go out in the streets and protest. A good day to start a new activity or to start on a trip to somewhere you have never visited before.
Sep 25 – Mercury enters Libra until Oct 13. Does anyone write love letters anymore? I guess not. So why don’t you tweet a love letter to someone. We will be more careful during this time not to hurt anyone’s feelings. Even the Aquarians out there will try not to shock anyone.
OUTER PLANET TRANSITS
JUPITER is in Taurus this month and will stay in Taurus until June 2012. This month Jupiter is retrograde and is moving from 10 to 9 degrees of Taurus. Now is a time to re-evaluate our belief systems especially if you have the ascendant, Sun or Moon at 9 or 10 degrees of Taurus or Scorpio. This is a time to plan your future in a no-nonsense practical way.
SATURN is in Libra (structure, foundation, and responsibility) until Oct 2012. This month Saturn is moving from 15 to 19 degrees of Libra. If you have the Ascendant or any personal planets at 15 or 19 degrees of Libra in your natal chart, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. Libra rules relationships of all kinds and Saturn may ask you to take on more responsibility for how your relationships work.
URANUS is in Aries and will stay in Aries until 2018. This month Uranus is retrograde and will move from 4 to 2 degrees of Aries. Wanting freedom and a need to make radical changes will be felt by those with the Ascendant, Sun and personal planets at 2 to 4 degree of Aries. I believe in “cooperating with the inevitable”. If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, go on a long vacation, move, or make some major changes in your life.
NEPTUNE (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) stays at 29 degrees of Aquarius this month. Neptune is retrograde and will stay retrograde all month. Neptune will move into Pisces in February 2012 and will stay in Pisces until 2026. A lack of focus, a sense of drifting or an inability to see a betrayal or disappointment until it's too late can be experienced by those of you with the Sun or Personal Planets at 29 degrees of Aquarius or late Aquarius ascendant types. For the enlightened out there, Neptune can also bring artistic, musical, creative expression, increased dreams and spiritual insights.
PLUTO is in Capricorn until 2023. This month Pluto turns direct on Sep 16 and stays at 5 degrees of Capricorn. Everyone is feeling the urge to purge and to find his or her truth. Profound changes will be felt especially by those with Sun, Ascendant or personal planets at 5 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer.
